Remember the amazing sangeet decor from the evening before? It featured stunning and unique details like rustic, long tables and pews, supplied by the dedicated team at Paisley & Jade, and unforgettable entertainment provided by Planet DJ Productions. When you start your fabulous fusion wedding event off with such a memorable night, you better believe you're going to have an equally sensational closing ceremony to remember. That's why Maharani Kavya enlisted planning phenomenon Christine Godsey, from Engaging Affairs, to help her realize the reception of her dreams. Christine collaborated with floral and decor experts, Amaryllis, to execute a dazzlingly decorated party space — complete with luxurious draping and elegant centerpieces. The table tops were exquisitely set and the happy couple added some playful flair to the night with details like their dinosaur name card holders (so cute!). Today's Indian bride donned a hot pink and turquoise lengha with delicate floral details, and her new hubby was as handsome as ever in his white dinner jacket and black bow tie. Connor Studios snapped up plenty more details from this extraordinary post-ceremony soirée, and you can see them all in the complete inspiration gallery!
The bride, on her and her Raja's first dance song selection:
"Rob actually chose the first dance song, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. I was pretty surprised, because he called out of the blue to say it was coming on his car radio on the way to work & it reminded him of me. He said we should dance to it at our wedding."
On her most memorable wedding day moments:
"My favorite moments were the dances that my cousins performed at the Sangeet. My brother-in-law even joined for Didi Tera Dewar Deewana! They all came so far to celebrate with us & it was fantastic to see them all out there together. My other favorite moment was the fireworks at the end of the night, which made me feel like a kid again."
On working with her dream team of vendors:
"Amaryllis made us a stunning Doli that surpassed all of my dreams. Having that time with my brothers & my uncles was wonderful and our henna artist, Bhavna, was fabulous."
Have a fabulous rest of the day, Maharanis! We'll see you gals tomorrow!
