The moment has come for this delightful duo to say their I do's at their dream Destination Indian fusion wedding, meticulously planned by Mira Savara Events! Our Maharani wanted her bridal sari to represent her groom's Gujarati roots, so Studio East 6 had one custom-made for her in India, which is embroidered with Swarovski crystals! She looks ravishing in red and gold! Andrew Chan Weddings takes us to the Makena Beach & Golf Resort for their romantic outdoor ceremony overlooking crystal blue waters! To complement such a magnificent backdrop, Bella Grace Flowers frames the mandap with vibrant floral arrangements! See more matrimonial highlights of this captivating event in the gallery!

From the bride, on the fashion:

"I wanted to wear a sari for the wedding to stick with Gujarati tradition. My Indian clothing consultant (Studio East6) had a sari custom made for me from India. She knew I liked detailed thread-work so she had my sari made with lots of beautiful gold embroidery with Swarovski crystals delicately scattered all over it. The gold silk blouse style and the cream netting on the "skirt" portion of the sari added a little modern touch to a traditional red bridal sari. I also wanted to wear a "white" bridal evening gown for the reception. I picked out the champagne beaded gown by designer, Maggie Sottero, because of the beautiful beadwork all over it. I wanted a backless gown and this one fit me perfectly."

On the hair and makeup:

"My hair and makeup artists did an amazing job on my wedding day looks... I wanted to stay pretty natural and still look and feel like myself. They made me feel absolutely beautiful and were so sweet to work with. Makeup by Jessica Waite and her hair stylist was Annemarie."

On the wedding style:

"We wanted to have traditional elements of a Gujarati wedding but also the feel of an intimate tropical destination wedding. We already had a full traditional Chinese wedding in Hong Kong several months before, so this wedding in Hawaii was mostly a blend of Indian and western cultures with a touch of Chinese traditions. The two of us love nature and the outdoors so all of our events with the exception of the reception were outdoors. The weather was perfect and the sunset over the ocean each evening could not have been more magical."

On planning:

"I LOVE flowers and those were the most exciting thing for me to pick out. Our florist did an amazing job with all of the arrangements and displays. We had flowers everywhere!"

The wedding and reception portraits are still ahead!
