Studio Nine Photography + Cinema brings us a glorious Indian wedding that is sure to brighten up your day, so let's not waste any time and jump headfirst into the pre-wedding celebrations—taking place at the Royal Albert's Palace in New Jersey! Maharani Chandani is pretty as a picture in a vibrant orange and fuchsia sari, with subtle makeup and long, loose-flowing curls! She is all aglow as she enjoys all the sangeet festivities with her Maharaja, who is quite dapper in a gold-colored sherwani! And, there is definitely no shortage of color here, with all the performers donning ensembles which cover every shade of the rainbow! What a magical scene! We've got much more ahead with the wedding and reception at the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel, including Elegant Affairs Inc. showcasing amazing decor, ChocaL8kiss Bakery making the heavenly cake, and Moghul Caterers serving up the delicious treats, but for now, check out the gallery for tons of bridal inspiration for your big day!
From the bride, on the proposal:
"Amit proposed to me at Morris Arboretum, and it couldn't have been more perfect! My cousins and sister were behind the whole scam leading up to the proposal. I was told we were going to Morris Arboretum for my cousin's graduation lunch. Once we got there, I was then asked to sit on the stairs in the gardens and was handed an Ipad. My heart started racing because I knew what was going to happen next! On the Ipad was a video full of messages from Amit, my parents, his parents, and close family and friends. As I was done watching, I got up and turned around and found Amit on one knee with a gorgeous ring. My heart melted! Soon after, we went to CPK for lunch (our first date), the art museum (where he asked me to be his girlfriend), and then ended the night with a surprise gathering of our close family and friends! It was one of the most amazing and memorable days of my life!"
On what she enjoyed most about planning:
"I loved how my whole family would come together on weekends to prepare for the wedding, whether it was making food, house improvement projects, or just laughing and having fun. It was a blast!"
The first look photo shoot is next!
