Today, our Indian wedding journey begins in Princeton, New Jersey for Nimisha and Vimal's big day! Charmi Pena Photography gives us a sneak peek at the lovely bride and groom getting dressed for this oh-so-special occasion! Cinderella Bridez styles our Maharani's gorgeous hair in tight curls which goes perfectly with her fuchsia lengha by AsoPalav! The eye makeup is subdued, blending in with her natural skin tone, with a dark, muted lip gloss finishing off the look! To make sure he looks worthy of his bridal counterpart, Vimal wears a champagne-colored sherwani with a stylish headpiece! I can't wait to see these two come together! And, believe me you can't wait either because we've got RB Event Design planning this entire affair, with Moghul Caterers serving up the feast and Raaz Entertainment serving up the beats! In the meantime, head over to the gallery to see our bride-to-be reading the love letter from her one and only!

From the bride, on how they met:

"I moved to Chicago in the Fall of 2012 and met Vimal shortly thereafter. Everyone says this and in our case it's very true - it was love at first sight! I knew he was The One when he managed to take everything he'd heard me talk about on the phone and roll it up into the details of our first date. What was supposed to be a museum and dinner turned into a 12 hour date! We went to a Charlie Brown exhibit, dinner at a pub with a cozy old library in it, indulged in eating cupcakes and playing ConnectFour (he beat me!) at the famous Molly's Cupcakes and somehow ended up at a 80s dance party. Best date ever. He literally had me at hello."

On the proposal:

"The song "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons was brand new when we went on our first date. Throughout the 12 hours, we'd heard it just about everywhere we went. At the end of the night we were joking about how it was our song. After I dropped Vimal off, I heard it one last time on my drive home; I called him when I got home to tell him. It was just an excuse to say goodnight once more! The proposal, just like the first date, is so heartfelt. Exactly a year after we met, I was home in New Jersey for Christmas. Every year, since freshman year of college, my best friend, Allie, and I drink cosmopolitans in Rockefeller Center and channel our inner Carrie Bradshaw. The day after our tradition, Allie insisted we walk around Central Park and take pictures by The Boathouse where Carrie & Big infamously tipped the boat. I was clueless, going along for the ride and ready to go home and nap! As I walked around - in my very very casual attire - we passed a couple that asked if they could take a picture of us, if we took one of them. Nothing unusual. I then noticed a band playing by The Bethesda Fountain. The fountain is my favorite spots as that is where yet another favorite character of mine, Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl, was married. I got excited and suddenly noticed they were playing I Will Wait. I had to text Vimal immediately to share. As I grabbed my phone out of my purse, I felt a tap on my shoulder. There Vimal stood, a nervous but sweet smile upon his face. At first I thought something bad had happened which would explain his appearance. Halfway across the country, on his most beloved holiday, away from his family and in New York City. My shock turned into confusion and slight anger because he lied and said he was getting my car repaired in Chicago. A flustered Vimal slowly began to hit the ground on bended knee. He told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and uttered the four words a girl dreams of. "Will you marry me?" I screamed yes and a crowd soon gathered around us. The whole proposal was planned - each piece big and small, literally. The band, the photographer and even a little tiny Charlie Brown Christmas tree."

On the hair and makeup:

"Bhargavi from Cinderella Bridez is fabulous. She helped me with a skin regimen and really making sure I felt 100% beautiful in my trial to make sure I'd feel 10x more beautiful on my actual wedding day. I knew I wanted to keep my hair out during the ceremony, very non-traditional. I wanted big, long curls for a romantic look. For evening, I wanted my eyes to be smoky and soft and have a really fun, unique hairstyle."

The ceremony shots are next!
