The wait is finally over, my mehndi lovers! We were so overwhelmed with this years' amazing turnout of submissions and reader votes that it took us an extra day to tally them all up! Today, we are thrilled to announce the winners of The 5th Annual Mehndi Maharani Contest with Ash Kumar! With help from the master of mehndi himself, Ash Kumar, and all the amazing readers and supporters who voted for their favorite artist, the official verdict is in and this year's Mehndi Maharani crown is going to, drum roll please...

Congratulations to our First place winner, Samira Elbekraoui Ali of Samira's Henna Designs! She was this year's fave pick, earning her the title of 2015's reigning Mehndi Maharani, along with an AK Henna Gift Basket worth $200, and a full page ad in Maharani Weddings' E-magazine!!!
