Happy Friday, my fabulous friends! Thanks for joining us for this week's Filmy fest of wedding goodness! We're kicking the day off with a look at this uber charming Indian wedding in Savannah, Georgia, shot and edited by Jeff Dinges Films. Wedding expert, Teracie Jane Wedding & Events, planned this amazing Southern affair for one seriously adorable Maharani, Janki. She wed the Raja of her dreams, Ashish, and celebrated their momentous occasion with a multi-day event. You'll see highlights from their pre-wedding festivities all the way through to the final toast at their reception — which looks like it was simply incredible. With help from floral specialists at Fleurish Of Statesboro, the party looked out-of-this-world. Encore Event DJs helped make the night the most memorable one ever for the bride with a dance floor that was lit to perfection and a playlist that no one will ever forget. Add to those details several memorable performances by family and friends and a 5-tier white and teal wedding cake by Savannah Rum Runners Bakery, and Janki gets the Maharani seal of approval!

From the bride, on her Raja's proposal:

"My surprise proposal was in Jacksonville where we first met! He also gave me a Harry Potter snitch necklace that says Will you marry me on the inside because I am a huge fan."

On her wedding style:

"We wanted a more romantic feel nothing too blingy. We wanted traditional red, white, & gold for the wedding and we loved the teal and coral combo for our reception."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"It really brought us closer together and he was really there to help decode and make choices which made me love him even more to know that it mattered to him."

On her dream wedding lenghas:

"My aunt, Ranisha Patel, was my inspiration and my designer. I put my full trust in her because she is amazing at what she does with her company, Binari Art. All I knew was that I wanted a red and gold lengha for the wedding and coral and teal for the reception. Everything else as far as design and styles was up to her."

On her most memorable wedding day moment:

"The most magical moment was when my husband and I stepped onto our starlight dance floor for our first dance to Thinking Out Loud. The amazing floor, lighting, & music provided by Encore Event DJs just made it an amazing moment."

On her hair and makeup:

"My aunt and I talked about what styles would work best for the elegant look I wanted to create and we worked with the hairstylist for that. My makeup was also done by 2 different makeup artists for the wedding (Dante) and all other events (Kripa Bhatt). They both did an amazing job to make me look like a princess."

On the role that family and friends played:

"My family and friends all helped in their own ways whether it was behind the scenes or performing. Everyone came together and helped make our day even more special just by being there as well."

Meet me back here later today for more Filmy fun!
