It's been a while since the talented team over at 97 Films has shared their amazing work with us, which is what makes this next wedding film a reel treat! This past summer, they had the honor or shooting for Indian bride, Aditi, at her sensational fusion wedding event in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where Utsav Planners, Inc. put together the most fantastic celebration for her and her now hubby, Chance, at the Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club. It all starts off with a pre-wedding mehndi event and a look at the crew from Colonial Events setting up the outdoor mandap at the happy couple's venue space. The first look moment at the 4:20 mark will sweep you off your feet, and so will the wedding fashions! Maharani Aditi collaborated with Mira Bedi of Chrysalis Fashions to bring her dream lengha sari to life, and the hot pink and cream lace number with turquoise detail is simply exquisite. Her Raja looked as dapper as can be in an ivory and sky blue sherwani, and complemented his Princess perfectly. The bride and groom were not the only ones dressed to impress on the big day, though. Christopher & Company adorned the outdoor ceremony with some gorgeously elegant floral and decor! Check it all out for yourself!
From the bride, on meeting the Raja of her dreams and realizing he was the one:
"We went on our first date ten years ago. I didn't know he was the one at first but after everything we went through I couldn't have imagined my life with anyone else."
On her Raja's proposal:
"We were on the beach in Florida! We had just sat down after a long walk on the beach. He seemed really nervous but I did not think much of it. Suddenly, the weather got really dark like it was going to rain. He started to help me up and as he helped me up, he started to get down on one knee. He opened the ring box and told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him. Safe to say I said yes! Apparently, I did not know this at the time but everyone already knew he was going to propose. He had been planing it for months."
On her wedding style:
"I knew I wanted hot pink to be a color but as I started looking through Pinterest I loved the aqua blue paired with the pink. My wedding planner, Rupali Bedi, from Utsav Planners brought everything together. They were amazing!"
On seeing her dream wedding lengha come to life:
"I worked with Mira Bedi from Chrysallis Fashions. Her vision put together with my suggestions created the look for the wedding! I felt like a princess in my clothes!"
On her most memorable wedding moments:
"Looking back, the whole weekend was magical. There was so much love and laughter in the air and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. I will never forget my wedding weekend!"
On her and her Raja's first dance song selection:
"We just loved the words to "A thousand Years" by Christina Perri. Everything we listen to that song our hearts smile."
On her hair and makeup:
"As the wedding day approached closer, I started looking for updos for Indian brides. I loved the idea of a braid incorporated into the Up-do. The stylist took my ideas and created the look. As for the make-up, I generally stick to natural look it the stylist reminded me that I am the bride and I deserved a little more."
Additional thoughts from the bride:
"It really was one of the best days of my life."
Sit tight, dolls! I'll be back in a flash with another unforgettable wedding film!
