Nida Gazi, of Beauty By NG, has perfected Maharani Puja's hair and makeup for her big day, and she looks like the picture of perfection in these stunning getting ready shots captured by the talented Chico Photo. Our Indian bride selected a traditional red wedding lengha from RAAS in Mumbai, and it dazzles for days! The Raja of her dreams, Mithil, is handsome as can be in his cream-colored sherwani with richly-hued, red pants and a matching velvet pagri. The shots following their first look are absolutely frame-worthy and we can't wait to see these two tie the knot! Bridal & Event Lounge planned the most memorable wedding ceremony for them, and in just a bit, we'll get an exclusive look at it all! In the meantime, make sure to fill up on even more brilliant bridal details and first look photos in the complete gallery!

Maharani Puja, on meeting Raja Mithil:

"I met my Raja at a Bhakta basketball tournament 3 years ago in Los Angeles! He had come with a group of mutual friends from Arizona, I introduced myself to him, he probably thought I was crazy, obnoxious and loud and I thought he was super quiet!! He said he knew I was the one from the that moment! We slowly became friends, talking through Facebook messenger, and eventually that lead to us dating months later! I didn't know if he could handle my personality!!! I actually fell in love the way he spoke Gujarati! It made my heart happy!"

On Raja Mithil's romantic proposal:

"It was my nieces birthday party, we were wrapping up the party at my house. My sister-in-law said she wanted to go out and party, which is pretty unusual since she's a homebody, but I didn't ask to many questions, I got up to get ready, my cousin and my SIL kept saying no to everything I was wearing, which was so irritating! First of all, who cares.. its just a club, second of all, who did I need to impress! NOBODY. My friend calls me to come grab a quick drink since he was around here, so I go, my SIL says that she'll put the kids to sleep..get ready and she'll call when she's ready to come pick her up so we can leave to the club! We grab a drink, we get a call.. we come back to the house, but its locked, my cousin says she has to pee, I told her I don't have a key, you'll just have to wait till SIL opens the door! Well my cousin was swirming, and I told her to use the outdoor bathroom on the side of the house..she didn't want to go..because she was "scared"!! So I was like fine!!! I'll just go..and ask I walked around the corner of the house... DUN DUN DUN...there was a huge dinosaur! HA! just kidding! I saw a pathway of tealights with little notes along the way (inside jokes of course)..making me laugh along the way, with our favorite song Tum Hi Ho playing along the way, I walked along the way, realizing that holy crap..he's proposing!!!! I turned the corner, and saw him waiting up at the top of the waterfall in my backyard, all dressed up waiting for me! I was so nervous, but I guess he was a little bit more nervous than me! I walked up to him..he bent down on one knee, said all this cute mushy stuff...and of course I said YESSSSS!!!! finally..!"

On her hair and makeup:

"Nida Gazi did my wedding and reception looks. She made me look so beautiful! That I wished I could have her as my official hair and make up person for my daily life, just like Kim K!"

On shopping for her dream wedding lengha(s):

"Going to Mumbai!!! The only way to shop is with a Sandwizah sandwich in one hand and pointing at clothes that you want to try on with the other hand! That is how I spent my time in India! It was so much fun, eating and picking out clothes! I wish I could do that in America! It's another experience being there and seeing the amount of options! I got both my wedding and reception outfit from RAAS in Santacruz, Mumbai!"

See you back here in a bit, Maharanis! There's still plenty more to celebrate with Puja and Mithil!
