The breathtaking beachfront Maya Palace Deluxe, at the Barceló Maya Beach Resort, hosted the most spectacular Indian destination wedding this past summer, and the crafty "wed-deographers" from Jakarta's Doodle Studio, have created the most deliciously captivating highlight reel from the sensational celebrations! We're so excited for you to check out this inspiring Playa del Carmen dream come true, which was planned and designed by the newlyweds, Vanessa and Kishore, themselves! With a little help from floral and decor professionals from Latin Asian and the venue's own experts, the blushing Indian bride was able to bring her wedding fantasies to fruition, and you'll be blown away by each and every detail! There are exciting pre-wedding moments that feature the marvelous Maharani in a sparkling party dress from Le Rosh Boutique and partygoers celebrating in fabulous style with the help of DJ Suhel's playlist, but, the main event is where you'll really fall in love the most! Our stunning bride, whose hair and makeup by Styling Trio are flawless in every single frame, kills it in an amazing soft pink wedding lengha (slash gown), custom made by MischB Couture. I don't want to keep you from reveling in this extraordinary experience any longer, but make sure to read what Maharani Vanessa had to say after the video — her and her Raja's love story will make you believe in "the one"!

Maharani Vanessa, on how she met the Raja of her dreams, Kishore:

"Our ‘how we met’ story is what fairy tales are made of.
My prince charming, Kish, and I grew up on opposite ends of the world (Manila, Philippines & Atlanta, Georgia). We had unknowingly crossed paths many instances but didn’t meet until the time was ‘right.’ After 7 years of missed connections in various parts of the world, we officially met at a Mexican bar in NYC on Cinco de Mayo (how cliché!).

His opening line was “I’m moving to India next month.” Not expecting it to go anywhere, we casually hung out. Once he moved to Mumbai, our shared love for travel brought us together. There was harrowing motorcycle rides on backroads of Goa, falling in love in a hot air balloon in Turkey, ATV-ing all across the Mykonos hills and a pact made underneath the Eiffel Tower. I knew he was “the one” when he moved back to NYC for me.

We wanted our guests to have a better sense of our ‘how we met’ story, so we created an infographic on our wedding website: http://www.kishessa.com/our-story/."

On Kishore's romantic wedding proposal:

"For Valentine’s weekend 2014, Kish and I took a trip to explore San Francisco and Wine Country. I’m usually the planner in our relationship but I was swamped with work so I let Kish take the reins. He had booked a fabulous weekend of driving around the city in a convertible, meeting up with friends/family, and wine tasting and massages in Sonoma. I was excited and surprised all at the same time.

After a day of wine tasting, we arrived at the Ferrari Carano winery which boasts a Tuscan-inspired villa and five acres of perfectly manicured lawns. He took me through their ‘secret’ garden, complete with a brambling stream. We sat down in a gazebo and talked for a little bit. I got up to take some photos and when I looked back, he was on one knee!"

On their wedding style:

"I wanted our wedding event themes to closely reflect our relationship and shared interests, especially our passion for travel. Our Welcome Party was Bright Lights: Big City (based on a concert we went to on our second date in NYC). Our Pool Party was based on a trip we took to Greece, aptly titled a Mykonos Hangover. Our Sangeet was themed A Beat Heard Around the World, with elements from our travels including vintage suitcases and postcards from each city we’ve been to as our table decor. Our wedding was East Meets West commemorating our cross-continental upbringing and highlighting our fusion ceremony. And lastly, our reception was an homage to Latin culture, Senors & Senoritas at the Final Fiesta."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream Indian wedding:

"The process of wedding planning, especially for big Indian weddings, can be exciting and daunting all at the same time. I enjoyed the initial phase of searching for inspiration across blogs (such as Maharani), Pinterest, Vimeo and the like. It can be a struggle to have an incredibly unique wedding, which is why I tried to personalize as much as I could."

On the search for her dream wedding lenghas:

"I wanted my wedding style to reflect my everyday taste. For my Sangeet, I wanted an outfit which was bright and colorful AND also effortless to wear as I planned on dancing the night away. I found a Tamana Punjabi Kapoor lengha on the shelves at Le Rosh Boutique in Jakarta and immediately fell in love with it. For the beach ceremony, I wanted a fusion outfit that could bring together elements from a Western wedding gown and a Indian lengha, with a focus on the color pink. I found a designer in Jakarta, MischB, who made my wedding outfit dreams come true. She designed a baby pink gown with lace sleeves, golden embroidery and a jaw-dropping backless design."

Maharani Vanessa's most memorable wedding day moment:

"The moment I walked down the aisle with my parents by my side to meet my prince."

On her hair and makeup:

"I obsessively scoured Pinterest and blogs to see how other Indian brides had done their hair and makeup for various occasions. I finally decided on a low bun for the wedding since it would be hot, given the beach-side ceremony, and then took my hair down for the reception. I worked with Cancun-based Styling Trio, whose amazing stylists achieved my hair/makeup fantasies and more."

On her vendors:

"We wanted an open mandap so our friends and family could have an unobstructed view of the ceremony. Also, we had our ceremony on a beautiful Playa del Carmen beach so we wanted that prominently featured as our backdrop. Latin Asia, a prominent decor team in Mexico, helped bring that dream into fruition with beautiful peach and pink drapings, a silk flower Ganesh outline and stark white royal chairs which perfectly contrasted the bright blue ocean.

Our video/photo team, Doodle Wed-deography from Malaysia, was also beyond amazing. They created a same-day edit that brought our guests to tears as we featured it during the reception. Doodle such a unique way of capturing each wedding!"

I'll be back in just a bit with our third Filmy feature today!
