Wednesday's can be gruelling, right Maharanis? It's like you're half-way to the weekend, but you still have half a week to go! To help you get over that mid-week hump, we're bringing you the most rustically romantic Indian wedding in Sonoma, California, as strikingly captured by the amazingly talented Nadia D. Photography! Catherine Kelly Events planned this practically perfect event at the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards for Indian bride and groom, Sajel and Kash, and we fell so hard for all the details that we had to include it in our Best of 2015 e-magazine! With a rich and sophisticated color-palette, this extraordinary affair feels right at home in a vineyard venue. The mandap is my personal favorite mandap of all time, and Maharani Sajel's mehndi details are up there too! Her and Raja Kash's first look portraits are, possibly, the most captivating first look photos, ever, and their ceremony highlights are simply sensational. The elegantly enchanting floral details from River Oaks Flower House are sweet as can be, and things are about to get even more decadent when we check out the newlyweds' reception details, next. For now, head into the complete gallery for an exclusive look at Maharani Sajel getting ready, plus plenty more romantic first look photos and memorable ceremony moments!
Maharani Sajel, on her wedding style:
"Our wedding style was unique in that it was not traditional at all. We fused traditional Indian culture with our personal styles. The end result was an intimate, rustic Indian wedding that overlooked an Italian vineyard."
On her wedding ceremony:
"Walking down the aisle at our ceremony was an incredible feeling. We were surrounded by our closest friends and family and every detail had turned out better than we had both imagined. Seeing my Raja on stage made me so excited to know that I was only a short while away from officially becoming his Rani. The song we picked to dance to for our first dance was bubbly and fun and it set the tone for the rest of our life together as husband and wife."
Don't move a muscle, my friends! I'd hate for you to miss out on the post-ceremony perfection that's coming up next!
