Maharani Sejal, on her and Raja Amit's engagement:
"Our engagement was so special because it was so private and everything I could have wanted! Amit and I first met when we lived in Chicago, and one of our favorite things to do would be to spend time on Lake Michigan. Amit knew that I have always loved boating and he planned the most perfect proposal... on a boat in Lake Michigan!
Amit asked my brother send me a fabricated email from work saying he won a boat ride for two, and asked if Amit and I would be interested. Of course I jumped on the opportunity! I worked out a date that would work and emailed Amit to see if he wanted to do it! Amit and my brother were very sneaky, and had me thinking I was planning the whole experience.
We got to the pier I was surprised to found out no one else was coming, and we went on our way all alone! Once out on the water we were greeted with beautiful Chicago skyline, and the captain stopped the boat so we could walk out to the front to take pictures. Amit then got down on one knee with the entire skyline in the background and asked me to marry him. It was incredibly personal and romantic! We then had dinner at the Chef's table at one of our favorite restaurants, Girl and the Goat, which just completed the perfect night."
The main event is just around the corner, so check in with us soon!
