The beauty experts from Ruqs Salon are helping today's Indian bride get ready for her ceremony at the B Resort & Spa, and these gorgeous photos captured by Amita S. Photography are just revving up our anticipation for the main event! Seeing Madhu in her stunning red and gold bridal lengha alone was enough to excite us for the events to come! We are absolutely in love with the blushing bride's ensemble, and love that first look moment between her and Raja Sumeet to pieces! When I get back, we'll be tikka deep in the details from this adorable duo's fabulous Indian wedding ceremony, but before we fill up on all of those amazing details, make sure to check out more bridal portraits of Madhu in her exquisite red lengha in the complete gallery!

Maharani Madhu, on planning her dream wedding:

"The one thing that kept me completely sane during the entire wedding planning process was that Sumeet was involved in every step of the way. He was extremely hands-on for everything and did not take a step back from any of the hard work. While I was in India doing bridal shopping, I would Skype him while he was half-asleep in Orlando just to make sure we were both aligned and happy with the choices we were making with our clothing, my jewelry, invitations, etc. He was also the one who had the real "vision" for what he wanted our Sangeet and Reception to look like in terms of decor and theme."

On shopping for her and Sumeet's wedding attire:

"I was an extremely picky bridal shopper. Before flying to India, Sumeet and I had both spent hours and hours looking for outfits we both liked. When I got there, it was a totally different game plan since everything I saw was so different from what I had envisioned myself wearing.

We both ended up with custom outfits for all our occasions. He was just as particular as I was with his choices."

On her bridal mehndi:

"I fell in love with my mehendi. I did not want it to ever fade away. I had a fairly intricate design as that's something I always wanted. I also had a custom design. I incorporated some Disney elements into the mehendi (disney castle, Mickey ears) that was applied on my legs. Being born and raised on St. Maarten, I also had my artist draw out the map of St. Maarten in mehendi." (See what Madhu is talking about in the complete gallery!)

I'll be back with sensational ceremony highlights before you know it, so sit tight!
