Ready for a dazzling finale to today's Indian wedding events in Orlando? Amita S. Photography is delivering a collection of the most captivating highlights from Maharani Madhu and Raja Sumeet's reception at the B Resort & Spa, where Dreams To Reality turned up the shaadi style with decor details that will blow you away! The contemporary sweetheart stage and sequin linens are our favorite, and so is that sparkly number today's Indian bride has on! We've been counting the Disney-lovin' details from Madhu's big day, and aside from the incredible mehndi design of the Magic Kingdom on her leg by Khairu Lalani, this post-ceremony peek-a-boo from an adorable Minion takes the cake! Amazingly detailed work by Sprinkles Custom Cakes! Stop by the complete gallery for everything else you need to know from this fabulous affair planned by Just Marry!!
Maharani Madhu, on her reception style:
"Our Reception was themed 50 Shades of Love. We had a backdrop made just for us, covered in red roses. The ballroom's chandeliers also played well with the colors and theme of the event. Our entrance was in a carriage (again custom made for us), which was a very fitting fairly tale entrance (especially for being in Orlando!). We turned our reception into a grand celebration with our entertainment that came from Miami which was an absolute hit with all of our guests."
On her most memorable reception moment:
"When we walked into the ballroom to get our "sneak peek." All our months of planning and stressing and knowing that this entire weekend came together exactly as how we had wanted. Seeing the ballroom for the first time was literally breathtaking. It was exactly what we wanted and even more!"
Additional thoughts from the bride, on her shaadi:
"Sumeet and I are big foodies (him more than me though). Food was something that both families got involved with because we wanted to make sure this was a great culinary experience for them on both nights. For our Sangeet, our food was more playful to go along with our theme. Some of the specialties that night included pani puri shots and Indian street food. For our Reception, food was more traditional Indian and Italian. For dessert we had various wedding cake flavors and even Cold Stone ice cream!
After trying half a dozen bakeries (I love cake!), we picked Sprinkles. Part of the reason was they had the best cake we had tasted. Mostly, it was the same vendor Sumeet's brother and sister-in-law had used 15 years ago for their wedding so it had meaning to his entire family. I also surprised Sumeet by having a tiny minion on the cake.
Our DJ was handpicked by Sumeet. He spent a few weeks finalizing his choice. I just went along with it so that we could finalize someone. It was the best decision I made to have him pick. DJ Naveen Kumar was fantastic. Our dancefloor was packed both nights until the very last song. Being an island girl, I love reggae and soca music. Naveen Kumar had never played this genre in his gigs before, but he did a flawless job making me happy as a bride!"
See you tomorrow, my dears!
