Are you ready to be blown away by Serena and her ultra unique and exquisite Maharani style? Followell Fotography has captured some stunning moments of the Indian bride getting ready to say I do, and you won't believe your eyes when you see the beautiful details on her wedding lengha! The blouse has an amazing neckline and slit sleeves, on top of the most incredible embroidery and appliqués. The skirt has a mermaid-style drop waist and it's all accessorized perfectly with fabulous jewels and a green dupatta. Ajay stepped up his Raja game to complement his bride in a royal blue sherwani and pagri that was as handsome as can be, and when I get back, we'll be diving into all the most divine details from their breathtaking ceremony at the JW Marriott New Orleans, planned by RB Event Design! Until then, head into the complete gallery for an exclusive look at more of the stylish duo's portraits and meet the bridal party too!

Maharani Serena, on what she enoyed most about planning her Desi dream wedding:

"I truly enjoyed working with my husband during the planning process. It may sound cliche, but both the minutiae and the volume of details in the wedding planning process can be daunting. Navigating that maze together and working together on areas of similarities/differences was a great look into how we will react to things in the future. It proved to me how well we do actually complement each other's strengths and weaknesses."

On her wedding lengha:

"For my wedding lehenga, I wanted to be traditional with a twist. The outfit itself is actually a burgundy color up close, but what I loved most about it was the velvet material and long sleeves. With the fiance in tow with his blue velvet outfit, I thought the material match and color complement would work really well. As a bonus, velvet fits the charm and character of the location of our domestic destination wedding in New Orleans!"

I'll be back with incredible ceremony highlights, plus some super enchanting wedding portraits!
