RB Event Design has planned the most stunning Indian wedding ceremony at the JW Marriott New Orleans for today's bride and groom, and we are head over heels for all these breathtaking details captured by Followell Fotography! From the awe-inspiring decor work by the talented team from Prashe Decor, to the incredibly enchanting baraat and portrait of Serena and Ajay in the French Quarter, we are smitten as can be! The mandap was a dreamy construction with contemporary and rustic flare that is totally Pin-worthy, and we are wholeheartedly enamored (still!) with the Indian bride's phenomenal wedding lenghaand dupatta! We can't get enough of that mermaid-cut skirt and green veil! We'll try to contain ourselves for now, because things are about to get even more extraordinary in just a bit when we check out the highlights from our newlyweds' reception, where Opening Minds Entertainment made a fun night unforgettable. Before we dive into those party details from the post-ceremony celebration, head into the complete gallery for more memorable ceremony moments!

Maharani Serena, on her and Raja Ajay's shaadi style:

"We got engaged in December 2014, and both of us really wanted to get married by the end of 2015. The way timing worked out, there was no way we would be able to get married in the Summer/Fall of 2015. Despite a Winter wedding date, we decided to bring a little bit of that slightly outdoorsy feel indoors. We started off describing our vision of "Enchanted Winter/Secret Garden" mix and our decorator, Sabrinah from Prashe, helped bring our vision to life!"

On her most magical wedding moment:

"I think the most epic moment for me during the wedding weekend was when my bridesmaids, my mom and I were standing on a balcony welcoming the Baraat into the wedding. I know, I know, traditionally, the bride is supposed to be hiding away secretly peeking out at her husband, but come on! Who wouldn't want to be part of a Bollywood dance party down the streets of NOLA! It was exhilarating to be dancing on the balcony and watching all the wedding guests and onlookers jump in to join the dancing in true second line parade style! (Special shout out to RbEventDesign for putting the balcony logistics together quickly despite QUITE a few hiccups!) The perfect way to build the energy needed for the rest of the long day!"

Join me for the party of a lifetime later today as we unveil the details from Serena and Ajay's incredible reception!
