Welcome back, dolls! If you're just joining us, we're at the Hilton Americas-Houston today where SB Image Studios captured the most stunning fusion affair planned by Rathi Menon Events! The Indian wedding decor experts from Decor One have transformed Jessica and Brijesh's ceremony venue into a luxurious oasis for them to exchange I dos in, and Dhol Beat International has lit the event beautifully, bringing it to an entirely new level of luxe! Maharani Jessica watched her Raja on the streets below making his way to the wedding via his baraat, and the adorable duo said their I do's in breathtaking fashion under a spectacular floral chandelier! The blushing bride dazzled in a traditional red wedding lengha, and was all smiles. When I get back, we'll be getting an exclusive look at our newlyweds' second ceremony, and you definitely won't want to miss out on any of those divine details! While you're waiting, head into the complete gallery for more from this Hindu wedding event!
Maharani Jessica, on her Desi wedding style:
"We wanted an inclusive colorful Indian wedding with some Latin elements. A wedding where our fun party lover guests representing many countries and cultures would feel included in the party and experience a once in a lifetime wedding full of entertainment dancing to Indian, Latin, American, and global music. We wanted jewel tone colors for our Sangeet and Hindu Wedding Ceremony which represented our Indian and Latin roots perfectly and for the reception more of a soft romantic look - Lucite tables accented with blush and white tone Hydrangeas, white roses, orchids accented with fucshia tone flowers and crystal center pieces."
On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:
"The event planner and decorators were exceptional but planning our wedding with the invaluable vision and priceless support of our dear parents and family members, especially Mr. and Mrs. AVN and Swaroopa Reddy was what became a dream!"
On shopping for her wedding lenghas:
"I spent many hours online and Instagram! I would screenshot so many design ideas that my camera roll would fill up very quickly every week! For my Indian bridal attire, I wanted a reliable and quality driven source that would work on all my looks in NYC. I'm am forever grateful of finding Rahul Arora of Armaan's Bridal, specializing in Indian Bridal. He was very attentive, great listener, and honest with all my looks feedback! You can tell he loves what he does! For my reception dress, I fell in love with Bridal Reflections selection and customer service. They were exceptional."
Insight from the bride, on her Indian fusion ceremony:
"We had a person translating the significance and meaning behind the Hindu wedding ceremony rituals for our non-Hindu guests, which was helpful and inclusive."
Join me in a bit as Jessica and Brijesh tie the knot once more!
