From their mehndi ceremony, which featured today's blushing bride in a beautiful lengha by VAMA Designs Indian Bridal Couture, to their breathtaking outdoor fusion ceremony, today's newlyweds have delivered the perfect blend of Chinese and Indian tradition. Now, they're pulling out all the celebratory details for their reception at the Dolce Hayes Mansion, planned by Amazáe Events! Shaadi shutterbugs from Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema captured this collection of noteworthy highlights from the evening, which feature floral work by Nicole Ha Designs, live music by Kukoo G. Singh Live Music and a beautiful cake by Jens's Cakes! We love Angela and Tushar's favors of customized chopsticks and their interactive "guest book" shadow box! Make sure to fill up on even more of the extraordinary details from #tushela's fabulous Indian fusion celebration in the complete gallery!
Maharani Angela, on her and Tushar's reception:
"The reception was filled with speeches, a mini sangeet performance (one from Tushar's side and one from my side), a choreographed first dance, a flash mob, a photo booth, and lots of partying into the night. The seating place cards were placed in a shallow clear tray filled with dried moong beans, which we realized are the same beans used in savory daal dishes in Indian cuisine and sweet deserts in Chinese cuisine, and sent home engraved chopsticks as a gift to our guests."
What an unforgettable union between Angela and Tushar, and both of their beautifully rich cultures! See you tomorrow for another incredible wedding celebration, Maharanis!
