The magnificent South Asian wedding ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando and ShivPriya Events took care of all the planning, allowing the event to go perfectly. Occasions by Shangri-la provided the elegant decor and created a classy mandap which featured white curtains, rings of red roses and dazzling dangling crystals overhead. For a sophisticated take on a standard red carpet, they also covered the aisle in red rose petals! With bold hair and makeup from Michele Renee, our South Asian bride was as beautiful as the decor, wearing a gold and red bridal lengha studded with fabulous mirror work! However, nothing was as magical as the moment when the Maharani and her Raja tied the knot, and Banga Studios captured that moment and more splendidly! Visit the full gallery to see it all!

Maharani Megha on choosing her lengha:

"I wanted something red before I went to India. I was looking for something different and not the same pattern that everyone usually has. Mirror work is very in fashion right now in India so when I saw the outfit I knew I had to get it. It is covered in complete real mirror work and it weighed almost 45 lbs. The shine and brightness that it would give when I would walk down the aisle was exactly what I wanted. Theme continued for my mother and my sister. They both had mirror work in their outfits as well."

On the most memorable moment of the day:
"I think when my husband gave the speech, it was the sweetest moment for me since I had never seen him get emotional before. He truly was pouring out his heart to me at that time. It was something I will never forget."

We'll return with the incredible reception soon!
