Today's Desi bride and groom continued their pre-wedding celebrations with a sensational sangeet night at the El Dorado Royale, and these highlights photographed by the remarkable shutterbugs from Lightyear Studio are sure to blow you away! We're still dreaming of Maharani Sabrina's gorgeous, green lengha from that welcome dinner and pithi the night before, but we're as equally delighted with her and her bridal party's sangeet lenghas too! Today's blushing bride wore a maroon and gold creation, while her bridesmaids rocked in custom-made blue, cream and hot pink outfits! The groomsmen brought more royal vibes to the evening with some coordinating kurtas, and Raja Mos was handsome as can be in his brown sherwani and pants. The evening was vibrant with pops of violet, hot pink and marigold, and it's delivering everything we love about a good pre-wedding party! Before we dive into Sabrina and Mos' unforgettable wedding day details, make sure to fill up on more of their sangeet sensations in the complete gallery!
Maharani Sabrina, on her sangeet style:
"For the sangeet, we wanted lots and lots of bright colors. The color palette was hot pink, purple, and orange. I worked with a designer, Jeetu, who is based in Mumbai to design the perfect lengha. I’m sure that I drove him crazy at some points with my indecision and constantly changing my mind but in the end, I absolutely loved our jointly created creation. Jeetu also helped design the sangeet lenghas for all my bridesmaids too, which came out amazing!"
On her most magical wedding moments:
"There were many magical moments but the one that really stands out was all the love that was shown to us during the Sangeet. Traditionally during a Sangeet, friends and family of the bride and groom put on fun and energetic dances. While I knew there were going to be some dances, I had no idea the extent to how many! Not only did my bridesmaids and groomsmen do a full medley of both Bollywood and American songs, the pinnacle of the night was when my aunt/uncles, in-laws, and parents’ friends did a couples’ medley at the end of the night. For this, each uncle did about a 1 minute dance with more than 25 couples (50 people) dances all together! It was absolutely amazing to see how much love and support that not only people have for Mos and I but also the love that my parents have from all their friends who participated. By the end, my hands were hurting from clapping so much but it was absolutely amazing."
