Today's beautiful Guyanese-American bride had a vision of purple and gold when it came to her Desi dream day, and no where is that concept more evident than at this stunning reception perfectly planned by the experts from Pea to Tree Events! The mandap turned stage made the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds glittering sweetheart table, and the floral and decor details by Hannah's Floral & Events throughout the venue are simply splendid. Hands on Sweets created the most incredible wedding cake for Maharani Amrita and Raja David, and Rad Red Creative captured all these unforgettable details and highlights, including the newlyweds' first dance, at The Westin Tampa Harbour Island just fabulously! We can't get enough of Amrita's bold Maharani style, and we'll be filling up on even more of it in the complete gallery before we hit the Videos Blog for a recap of it all in the stunning film by Paul Duhon Videography!

Maharani Amrita, on her and Raja David's first dance song selection:

"My husband and I like to be different. We didn't like the idea of having one wedding song. We did a mash up of a few American songs and decided to also include the songs "Aja Nachle" and the song "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". It turned out great because no one was expecting a mash up!"

On help from family and friends:

"My entire family and Maid of Honor helped out with all wedding events. Without them, our wedding would not have been a success. My husband and I will be forever grateful for the time and effort each individual contributed to make our day special."

Additional thoughts from the bride:

"My henna was done by Tampa Henna Garlands. She was very patient and helped me choose a great design! All our decor, including all flowers for both ceremonies was done by Hannah's Floral & Events. She did an amazing job and truly made the wedding planning process so much easier. We were so lucky to find such an amazing vendor. Our cake was done by Hands on Sweets. My inspiration for our cake actually came from two cakes I found. They were able to understand my vision and bring it to life!"
