Now we are ready to see the glorious ceremony of Bina & Amit from sunny Mexico. I am a Maharani who loves her shoes, but getting married barefoot in the sand ranks high on my list for my future vow renewal.  Draped in sheer white, this modern mandap by Latin Asia Decoration ideally showcases the turquoise waters of Cancun.  Dolled Up by Lulu was there to make sure that Maharani Bina glowed, and make sure you check out her fabulous lengha by Shaymal & Bhumika. Grab your passport and enjoy more of  DreamArt Photography's snaps in the gallery!

More behind Maharani Bina's Wedding :

How did you choose your lengha or lenghas? Did you work with a certain designer? Did you spend hours on the internet first?
I chose to go with Shyamal & Bhumika for my wedding lengha and reception gown. I love the elegance of their designs. Their fabrics are luxurious and the designs are minimalist with an old age touch. This was perfect as I wasn't looking for anything over the top. Simple, beautiful and elegant was what I loved most of their designs. I also didn't want a "traditional" red lengha. I actually browsed their website and saw the one I loved and ordered it right away.

Looking back, was there a really special moment that you remember from your wedding that stands out as the most magical?
Amit and I were so thankful to all our friends and family that flew in for our destination wedding as we weren't expecting a large crowd. We ended up with 125 guests which is pretty impressive for a destination wedding. The love and energy they bought with them gave us such a natural high throughout all our events. We are beyond blessed to have them all in our lives.

Did you and your Raja have a special song that you danced to as your first dance? How did you choose it?
Amit and I chose "Sky Full of Stars" by Cold Play. We both loved this song as it seemed to be the song that was playing numerous times when we took our first vacation together, which was a drive down the pacific coast highway in California.

How about hair and makeup? Did you already have a style in mind or did you work with a specialist to find your perfect look?
For my hair and makeup, I chose Lulu by Dolled up by Lulu who is based in Los Angeles. She is an amazing artist with a great personality. I loved every look from our welcome party to the reception. I let her pick styles for me and they turned out amazing. I would highly recommend her to every bride to be.
