The one accessory that I think that every bride needs when she's wearing a wedding gown is a veil.  Even if you only wear it for pictures, when you look at the stunning images by MaxPhoto NY, I think you will agree. The stairs, the gardens, and the fountains at  Leonard's Palazzo create the amazing backdrop for these wedding day portraits. With a simple ombre pink bouquet created by Elegant Floral Designs, and a pair of sparkling Louboutin wedding shoes Maharani Yogita looks ravishing not only to us, but her groom as you can see!   And, if you haven't yet checked out their video by MaxPhoto NY, make sure you head over to the film blog.  Everyone else, join me in one of the most lovely galleries I have ever seen!

More behind the scenes on Maharani Yogita's wedding day :

How did you meet your Raja and when did you know he was "the one"?

I met my Raja through mutual friends. We had an amazing first date which starting off with dinner, getting coffee, and ended with us singing karaoke. From the first date i knew he was the one.

Do you have a super romantic proposal story or engagement memory?

My loving and understanding husband planned a trip for us to go to Dominican Republic however on the morning of the trip, I realized my passport was expired. At the time i didn't know he was planning to propose on the trip. He calmly booked us another trip to Miami where he eventually proposed during the sunset on the boardwalk.

Tell us about your wedding style. When you sat down to really figure out how your dream wedding would look, did you start with one central color, a palette of colors, or a theme that served as your inspiration?

When planning our wedding we knew we both wanted something simple and elegant. Going with a traditional Hindu wedding theme we kept the red and gold color scheme. My favorite color is pink, so we used pink for the centerpieces and lighting for the reception. Everything came together pretty easily.

What did you enjoy most about the process of planning your dream Indian wedding?

I enjoyed the time that i spend with my husband and family. It was a team effort getting everything we wanted.

Dance party with awesome lighting coming right up next!
