Fireworks and delirious guests made for the perfect segue into a vibrant, Chokidhani-themed Sangeet. Gold and purple reigned over the color palette, and the angel was in details like cane chairs, traditional cabanas, chai glasses, and low-hanging lanterns suspended from trees. The cherries-on-the-cake were a pagdi stall for guests to take custom pagdis as souvenirs, and Sufi artists who added an aura of mystical trance to the Sangeet. One spectacle after another, the carnival-themed poolside brunch party was a splash of blue and yellow colors. Everyone indulged in rifle shooting, bangle making, foot spas, tattoo and nail art, and presumably scrumptious candy at the candy station counter. Tarz Events 'N' Entertainment was truly an A-team for decor, and Mumbai-based percussionist and DJ kept the fun going. Always giving us a myriad of reasons to rejoice through their priceless photos, WeddingNama captured Pooja & Anand’s wedding extravaganza at the exotic Chunda Palace. A boutique property offering 360 degree views of the lakes and hills, Chunda Palace was the ideal setting for our Maharani who adores all-things-sunset! “I wanted sunset colors and when I went to Manish Malhotra’s store, they were very cooperative in customizing my lehenga as per that,” recalled Pooja. She sure twirled pretty in her ornate salmon lehenga with architectural motifs, while Anand in his cream, lightly-pleated Tarun Tahiliani sherwani made for a perfect match. The Moroccan-themed wedding was imbued with understated glamour, with romantic background music courtesy of Santoor and Tabla maestros. The mandap stood out in alternating tones of red and saffron, enhanced with long, antique-gold lamps, and fresh marigolds. Chunda Palace also took care of catering, another aspect about the venue that Pooja was really pleased with. Despite the fact that every frame looks picturesque and quintessential, we marveled at WeddingNama’s ability to snap live-in-action photos as well. The Baraat, the twirls, the pheras, and the sky lanterns offer only a few glimpses, so you have got to check out the rest of their gallery
