Ciao cara mia! It was during a chance encounter at UCLA while Nina attended the Hindu Student’s Association (HSA) that she crossed paths with her future Maharaja, Gautam. It wasn’t until they first saw each other shortly after in Kerckhoff 135 (where Nina’s vision was a bit hazy due to not having her contacts) that Gautam concluded, clear as day, that Nina was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on. A love story indeed that eventually led to a dazzling outdoor Indian wedding at the prestigious Avenue of the Arts Wyndham Hotel. Nina and Gautam exchanged their love vows in a custom designed four pillar mandap topped with fresh floral designed by Deepti’s Floral Designs and Mandaps. Nina chose both Sakshi Dosaj of Sashi’s Dream Collections and Sari Palace as her premier vendor for bridal fashion. At the wedding ceremony, this Maharani donned a cardinal red net paisley printed lengha with an elaborate red, green and blue dupatta. The venue, the bridal lengha, the Maharani; everything was just so grand! The gallery is loaded with more images by Wedding Documentary, so take a peeksie!
The Avenue of the Arts is one of my favorite venues to witness a romantic wedding, make sure you return as we head back for the reception!
