It was perhaps the fact that our Maharani Ahalia was so lucid about the preferred decor theme (she had just one word: regal), that made it effortless for Platinum Celebrations to orchestrate this wedding. In a lovely color palette of pastel mustard yellow, crimson red, coral, and royal blue, Elegant Floral Design enhanced the indoor venue at The Swan Club, with a Chuppah-style mandap. The use of pleated organza and tulle drapes were textural elegance at their best. All the subtle colors of the drapes paired excellently with the striking red floral work, and our happy couple in their traditional red ensembles. Moreover, the blue accents from the bridesmaids’ colorblocked saris with silver butta print work, and the groomsmen’s cream and blue sherwanis, lent a royal vibe. For her Hindu ceremony, our Maharani was carried in a gold palanquin to the rustic, cosy mandap where the two were united in nuptial bliss. S&A Roti Shop catered native cuisine to satiate everyone’s palates. Get a closer look at their first ceremony by going through the gallery, courtesy of the very skilled MaxPhoto NY!
Stay tuned to find out the epic story of how this couple met, which will unfold in the last segment along with all the details on their Nikkah and reception!
