Welcome back, Maharanis! Having just seen Monique and Mayank’s outdoor ceremony at Pleasantdale Chateau, we are convinced that we have never seen such a perfect mix of traditional, tasteful, and royal! It was evident that it took particular expertise to orchestrate such magnificence, and decor connoisseurs like Elegant Affairs brought the vision to fruition. DJUSA set the tone of merriment for the rest of the ceremony with a festive and joyous Baraat. Everything from start to end was gleaming in gorgeousness, but our Maharani Monique is on top of that list. Dressed in a green and cream pairing from Roopkala Designers, the gold baroque appliqué embroidery on her lehenga was simply exquisite. “My bridal henna by Mansi Shah was a topic of so many conversations, as I showed off the unique designs including the incorporation of my prince playing a guitar in my henna!” shared the exuberant Monique. Sanjana Vaswani further enhanced Monique’s bridal glory by giving her a side swept updo, and one of the most stunning brown smokey eyes we have ever seen. Guests were treated to lunch and live music from Dolce Ensemble prior to the wedding ceremony. Elegant Affairs outshone in the decor area. A grand gold Mandap with a dome structure overlooked the pond. Hints of decadence permeated through the burgundy drapes and hanging blooms that adorned the aisle on the lawn. The entire podium was luxuriously decorated with embroidered drapes. The happy couple made an exit in full regalia in a horse-drawn carriage, to their reception. Oh and did we share the best highlight? - David Beynon Pena live painted the ceremony! Relive this top-notch splendor through our gallery featuring the excellent work of Images by Berit.
In the last segment, we will luxuriate in Monique and Mayank’s grandiloquent reception that we don’t suggest you miss! Join the joy by heading back to the blog in just a bit!
