It is not uncommon that our brides make special trips to India just to pick out their wedding attire, jewelry, and decor. As a matter of fact, Maharani Priya did almost all her shopping in Mumbai and found that not only was she more fond of the selection but budget wise it was a better choice. The bride went for statement pieces for her jewelry that paired well with its counterparts as well as standalone pieces. The bride knew she had to be selective and only had two weeks to find the perfect attire! The bride fell in love with a pastel pink and peach lengha that was lined with borders of green. Priya wanted a different approach to bridal wear and we loved the layering of jewellery that sat atop her ensemble. The wedding ceremony took place in the Arabia Shriners with an open mandap concept in mind. The venue’s 19th century chandelier was taken full advantage of and drapery and floral in pastel colors was the perfect compliment. I am loving the open mandap idea Maharanis! Such a clean and innovative approach to the times. After the ceremony ended, the bride and groom were whisked off in a vintage, ivory Rolls Royce - the perfect grand finale. Bella Lumi Photography captured all the action that you can find hanging out in the gallery.
One last stop for the wedding reception is headed your way!
