There is this crazy thing about fate that can just strike anywhere. Your future Maharaja could be next to you in line at the grocery store or your next door neighbor that you have known for years; that is the thing about love - it just so unpredictable! Just ask Maharani Shelley who met her Raja Rikhil through the power of the internet. As young professionals are just killing it in their careers, more and more couples are finding love through internet dating sites! However, Shelley and Rikhil’s relationship is a tad bit different as it turns out, their grandparents already knew each other. Now, let’s talk about that thing called fate. After these two lovebirds decided to tie the knot, it became evident that self planning the wedding would be the most appropriate. The celebration included a festive mehndi night, the garba at the Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey and finally the Indian wedding and reception at The Merion. The bride began her big day with her makeup artist Geysha. Soft, glowing skin and coral lips aligned with kajaal rimmed eyes was the final outcome on our Maharani. Of course, who best to view the Maharani but her Maharaja? We are most certain that the coveted first look was one of the most treasured moments of the day! Soak in all the love with our handpicked images down below as we spring into the Indian wedding designed by Florista Decor that we have coming right up! The gallery by Ralph Deal Photography awaits !
