We’re swooning over the adorable couple of Samreen and Chaz. Samreen told us, “We met through mutual friends! We clicked on every level and he was the biggest sweetheart.” Aw! Once again, Anna Schmidt Photography captured the events with love and charm. We were thrilled to note that this adventurous duo were engaged in true high octane style: “He proposed on top of a slope before we were about to snowboard down one last time. The park was closing so we wanted to ride down one more time but that never happened because I didn't want anything to happen to my new bling! The best part was we were on the trip with 20 of our closest friends so we got to celebrate with everyone afterwards.” So special! The festivities began with a private ceremony at the Diyanet Center of America, followed by a ultra festive reception at the super unique Corradetti Glass Blowing Studio. We are in awe of Samreen’s bridal ensemble consisting of a white, embroidered lehenga that meshed the best of Eastern and Western traditions. She was a dazzling goddess from the top of her bouffant ‘do to the bottom of her sparkly heels. When we return, we’ll take you into Samreen and Chaz’s darling first look and reception with live musical stylings by Notorious Entertainment - DJ Harvey. While you wait, peruse the magical full gallery by Anna Schmidt Photography.
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met through mutual friends! I know it sounds cheesy but you know how they say "you just know he's the one." That's kind of how it was. We clicked on every level and he was the biggest sweetheart.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He proposed on top of a slope before we were about to snowboard down one last time - the park was closing so we wanted to ride down one more time but that never happened because I didn't want anything to happen to my new bling! The best part was we were on the trip with 20 of our closest friends so we got to celebrate with everyone afterwards.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I loved working with my wedding coordinator Macy from Enchanting Events and Design, as well as Anna Schmidt who did an awesome job capturing our special day. They were so great and easy to work with.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Stay calm and enjoy every moment of your special day because it will be over with the blink of an eye! Also, remember to eat!
Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
I think it's safe to say I was obsessed with my bouquet and floral arrangements. Mary Ellen from Steel Cut Flowers did an amazing job. I was also in love with our unique venue - who would have thought to do a reception at a glass blowing studio?!
Hurry back lovelies! More from this celebration coming right up!
