We’ve finally reached Aarti and Chris’ grand finale reception event! This creative couple knew that when the special day would arrive, only a super funky and unique venue would do. Enter the Chabot Space & Science Center - Oakland space, which featuring tons of modern elements and space travel memorabilia. How cool! The newlyweds enlisted the talented troupe at Simply Elegant Weddings & Events to oversee the important task of ensuring the series of events flowed effortlessly. Gorgeous Aarti was the belle of the ball in a sparkling, navy lehenga with golden motif work and a gorg updo. She was a total bombshell in her ruby lips and smokey eyes. Chris was also adorable in a matching navy suit and stylish bow tie! The theme of the night had to be chic space travel as starry garlands and lavender luminescence bathed the quarters. We were jumping for joy witnessing all the dancing at the event, and not a single person was left in their seat as the room was filled to the brim with euphoric beats. So much fun! Every element of Aarti and Chris’ Indian fusion wedding was infused with charm and eclectic details. We have to admit, their fairy tale wedding blew us away. After all, it’s not every day that we witness a decadent Indian ceremony occuring outdoors in a redwood forest! Such an incredible juxtaposition of traditional Indian culture with the lush outdoors. The creative minds at Simply Elegant Weddings & Events helped with the arrangements at the Roberts Park - Oakland venue, and the beautiful mandap stage, red carpet, and lovely seating surrounded by towering trees was the perfect setup for the uber romantic ceremony. Our hearts were just fluttering over the majestic trees overlooking Aarti and Chris’ sacred vows. How magical! We were smiling with joy at the duo’s ceremony proceedings, since these two seemed to radiate bliss throughout the event. Aarti and Chris are obviously a match made in heaven! After their vows, the newlyweds bounded through the audience, surrounded by playful bubbles. Morning Maharanis! Today, we present you a gorgeous fusion Indian wedding that is so full of flair and style, with the added treat of occurring outdoors in a gorgeous redwood forest. It was high time for these lovebirds to tie to knot, and their elated guests couldn’t wait another minute to see Aarti and Chris finally become husband and wife! Coordinating a wedding event of this caliber required tons of coordination, and Simply Elegant Weddings & Events jumped in to help the couple create a gorgeous event with all the right trimmings. We’re in awe over the mesmerizing ambiance, featuring towering redwood trees and a pretty white and gold mandap. But before we dive into the ceremonial action, let’s talk about the radiant bride! She was pure royalty in a red, silk sari trimmed with gold. Her shimmering jewels and the white garland adorning her sleek updo were the perfect finishing touches. Meanwhile, Chris was as dapper as could be in a champagne and ruby sherwani that matched his glowing bride. We’re swooning over their first look photos as they frolicked in the lush foliage of the Roberts Park - Oakland venue. Their ornate Indian garb contrasted ever so beautifully with the rustic surroundings.
