For the reception event, the bride donned a peach gown with mesmerizing silver embroidery. Sneha was the epitome of sleek and sultry, and her handsome new hubby couldn’t look away from her radiance. This party was truly off the charts, containing nonstop entertainment, banging beats, and showers of colorful confetti. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We both met in grad school in Boston, MA. Grad school was tough but being with Aniket was easy. Over the course of the program, he had become my closest confidant, my best friend and my all-time problem solver. There was never one moment when I knew he was "the one", it just felt right with him. I think that is when I knew :)
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
This one's funny! The real proposal happened at a train station in Boston. This is where I said no, but later on speaking to my best friend I realized that I was into him too. So I went back and said yes :D
We've been together for 3 years and when we were getting close to being married, I remember casually saying I never got a formal proposal like they show in movies. By this time, we were both in San Francisco,CA.
Within a week of that I was blindfolded and taken to an unknown place by a bunch of friends. Upon opening my eyes, I was standing at Baker beach, looking at Aniket - who was sitting there on the beach on one knee, holding a ring in his outstretched hands between a heart made of candles, with the golden gate bridge in the backdrop. It was truly special and magical <3
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I think I was born very lucky. I literally DID NOT participate in my own wedding planning and not many people get the luxury to do that. All the credit goes to my parents and my sister - who drove to various cities and numerous venues to find the perfect one.
I think everyone fell for the grandeur of Chomu Palace, it was far away from the city tucked in a small town near Jaipur. Getting married in a palace is probably what dreams are made of :)
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
My entry as a bride. I came sitting on a palanquin to the sound of the loudest drumroll I've ever heard in my life. It was an overwhelming moment for me and for everyone around to see such a beautiful sight like that! It actually made me feel like a maharani <3
