I’m thrilled to showcase all the beauty of Unnati and Akash’s union in New Jersey. All about this magical affair was pure inspiration thanks to a handful of amazingly talented vendors that were part of the nuptials. Starting with Makeup By Karishma who helped our lovely Maharani Unnati to look incredibly beautiful with softly defined eyeshadow and a charming scarlet lip color that matched the heavily embroidered lehenga set she flaunted on her special day! I’m absolutely amazed by the intricate motifs and patterns that Henna by Pallavi created on the bride’s hands and feet and that were photographed by the lens of S.Snapz. The renowned photographer also captured the couple's cute first look moment in a timeless and intimate pre-ceremony photo-session. The love-struck couple was ready to meet once again at the mandap for the definite "Yes" at the elegant Lucien's Manor! You can check out all the great pre-wedding ceremony imagery in our full gallery.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted a darker color for sure which made it easier to shop. Believe it or not, on day 1, I saw about 5-6 different dresses and didn't really like any. Finally as I was about the leave, the stylist said I have one more, please check it out before you leave. I wasn't too excited about it, I was thinking to my self, this will be lame as well. However, to respect the stylist, I said sure I will check it out. The moment I saw it for the first time, I loved it! I tried it on and saw my mother shed a tear. I couldn't stop smiling and looking at the dress. That is the exact moment I knew this was the one!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment where my husband saw me for the first time in my wedding dress. The first look keeps replaying in my head over and over. It was absolutely magical! I have never been so nervous and excited at the same time.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Live in the moment and enjoy the big day! Do not let anything else worry you that day.

Don't miss out the ceremony in our next post!
