The beautiful Cassie and Kishan chose to hold their multicultural wedding ceremony near the banks of Choptank River in the elegant Hyatt Chesapeake Bay. In a unique Baraat procession, Kishan navigated the waters of the river to reach the ceremony venue where he was finally welcomed by the bride’s family. The marvelous resort was all set up by the premier décor firm L'Ambiance Inc. with a whimsical mandap design that was a riot of color! Our charming bride worked along the décor team and tackle some details herself by creating origami star streamers which decorated the glass columns of the mandap and gave that extra personal touch to the adornments! After the Hindu marriage was completed and the rituals were over, the couple incorporated some traditional Jewish elements into the final part of the day as stomping the glass! Akbar Sayed Photography captured all the rituals and unique details through a series of striking images all featured in our full gallery.
