Hello there, ladies! If you are loving this celebration of love as much as we are, you will be thrilled to know that we are bringing you all the details into Zahra & Bhavishyat's wedding reception party! This is an intimate and fun-loving event that you will enjoy, and from which you can get a lot of inspirational ideas, so let's check it out together! But before we head into it, we want to take you for a walk on the beach so we can appreciate the romantic photoshoot that was carried by Linett Teresa Photography. It is so charming that we can't stop smiling! Once the photo shoot was done, it was time to continue with the reception party. Once again, the mesmerizing landscapes of the Historic Shadow Point were the perfect scenario for Zahra & Bhavishyat to celebrate their recent union in the company of their family and closest friends. Having the beach and the moonlight in the background, combined with the delicate floral arrangements and decor that Linens & More Florida Keys put together for this event, this scene was a dream come true and seemed to be taken out from a fairy tale! There is no wonder why every guest enjoyed this reception to the fullest while dancing and tasting the delicious plates that were prepared by Bombay Darbar. This has been a lovely wedding celebration that we wish didn't have to come to an end. However, you can always relive every moment of it, by taking a look at the gallery that we have prepared for you! Don't head off without checking it out!
Key Largo, FL Indian Fusion Wedding by Linett Teresa Photography
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Bhavishyat (Bhavi) through colleagues at work. The connection was very natural like we knew each other from forever. It was my birthday weekend, that he planned a trip to Chattanooga, TN where I realized it had to be him. His loving, affectionate and caring nature made me realize all that I wanted in my Mr. Right, was in him.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We were getting ready for a dinner date, he made sure I was in the room as pest control were doing a treatment at home (at least that is what he said). Ready for our dinner outing I stepped outside to flowers showering and Bhavi on his knees.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Well, we are from different faiths and were planning a small but fun wedding party with family and friends on a beach in Florida, that helped us celebrate the best of both cultures with people who mattered the most.
It was a real challenge, in fact, I feel we couldn't have done another exercise to know each other and our families soo well. From choosing a location in Key Largo to the venue Historic Shadow Point to getting Anita Amin #AminaEvents to help us coordinate our wedding weekend. To choosing LinettePhotography as our wedding photographer to getting Hair, Makeup and Henna artists in Key Largo. To finding food options that go well for all. To the 2 priests to solemn up man and wife according to Hindu and Muslim traditions. It was a real experience. But the happy faces and the fact that we will be together forever made it all worth it.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I went to India for wedding shopping, I wanted a non-traditional color Lehenga for Nikaah. So dark blue and pastel green was an option we choose. For Kalyanum my mother in law felt pink would suit me well so it was a pink and gold and white and pink saree combination.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
We planned all the details of D day, it was exactly the way we wanted. A mixture of cultures with a lot of fun.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Venue and cocktail party
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Fun times with family and friends
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Haldi and Mehndi in the open, with mangal snanum at sunset.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Dont stress the small stuff, no one remembers the color of your mandup or dress or the food. You got to enjoy D day.
Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
All local talent, cheaper.
We have lovely and inspiring stories every day, so we hope to see you tomorrow for a new one! Until then, have a great day and keep that inspiration going!
