Welcome back, ladies! We are excited to unveil Arpen & Neil's wedding reception party! As it could not be another way, this reception party held at the halls of the luxurious Azuridge Estate Hotel, was amazing! Flower Artistry complemented the perfect planning and conceptualization of this event done by Lynn Fletcher Events with delicate and elegant floral arrangements. Without any question, this winning combination created an ideal setting for our newlyweds to share their happiness in the company of their family and closest friends. Arpen & Neil attended this wedding most fashionably and elegantly, and we love the look on them! The gorgeous Lengha from Falguni Shane Peacock, combined with the elegant jewelry from Hookum Design Studios praised Arpen's natural beauty and made her look like royalty! Raja Neil followed Arpen's lead and ended up looking handsome and imposing! Without any question, they look great together! This night, was one to remember and thanks to the fantastic work of Decibel Entertainment the dancefloor was on fire to the beats of the best Bollywood hits! Everyone danced the night out and enjoyed a bite of the delicious cake that Whippt Catering prepared for this gala. If you want to relive this entire wedding celebration, do not miss the gallery that we have created for today with the help of the good friends at Andras Schram Photography. And if this gallery is not enough, you can always take a look at the blockbuster film created by Michael J. Scott Productions. Without any question, this is the perfect complement for this fantastic event!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Neil and I met when I was in my final year of dental school and while he was completing his surgical residency program; our connection was instantaneous. We had seen each other a few times at the hospital, decided to grab coffee - and the rest is history! I knew he was the one after I learned how sweet, ambitious, and funny he is.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Neil surprised me with the proposal over a romantic dinner overlooking the Chicago skyline at The Signature Room at the 95th. I had no idea it was coming, and he had the waitress capture pictures of the entire thing; we celebrated afterwards with champagne & dessert - it was perfect.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I kept organized by creating checklists; we were engaged for a year and a half before the wedding, so I knew what I needed to have booked at 12, 6, 3 months out. Pre-planning all of that helped me stay stress-free and allowed us to enjoy and make the most of the wedding events. Our vendors were also amazing - from the photographer, videographer, wedding decor & coordination, hair & makeup - our teams were so fabulous. I would definitely recommend them for future couples.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I honestly thought I was going to wear red; however, when I tried on that Rimple & Harpreet outfit, I knew it was the one. The intricacy of the textiles inspired by ancient India were stunning; and I loved that it was traditional, yet unique. Padmaavat is one of my favourite Indian films, especially because of the beautiful pieces that Rimple & Harpreet designed - I definitely had them in mind when I traveled to India.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think they enjoyed the outdoor ceremony; the setting was stunning. Honestly, we were very happy with the venue that we chose - it had a very intimate feel, which is exactly what we wanted for our ceremony.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The most memorable moment for me was when my parents walked me down the aisle and that first look with Neil; it was very special.
We hope you have a great week and don't forget to join us tomorrow for more!
