Hello there, ladies! We are wrapping up Priya & Darpan's wedding festivities with a beautiful wedding reception held at the Wyndham Lancaster. Events by Ridhi P conceptualized and executed a fabulous gala that Wedding Design The Event Decorator complemented with an elegant decor that added an extra touch of flair to this luxurious event! To turn this reception into a party, D&S Event Solutions set the dancefloor on fire playing the best Bollywood hits and setting up a scheme of lights that enlivened every moment of the night! But that was not all for the musical department! When dinner time arrived, Medley Entertainment accompanied the delicious dishes prepared by Chowpatty Catering, with live music, creating a unique culinary experience that everyone loved! The night was a total success, and everyone stopped by Actions Photo Booths' booth to keep a memory of this grand event! The reception was getting to an end when our lovebirds had the first cut at the delicious cake baked by Baker’s Table, a moment that got beautifully captured by the lens of Manish and Sung Photography. If you want to relive every single moment of this wedding celebration, don't miss our full gallery and the fantastic video created by Park Street Weddings. You will be amazed!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
My husband is my childhood friends. If you asked me several years ago if I thought I was going to marry him, the answer was probably no. But as the years went on and our friendship grew I realized he truly was my best friend and that friendship later grew into love.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He proposed to me at a Race Street Pier in Philadelphia! We both went to school in Philly and we both always loved going to Race Street Pier!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning an Indian wedding seemed crazy and was crazy, but we loved every part of it! Our wedding vendors were awesome! Shout out to Wedding design for creating a very elegant enchanted garden theme, Cinderella Bridez for an amazing job with hair and makeup! Our photographers Manish and Sung were great!! Our videographer Williamson with Parkstreet was soo talented and truly and amazing guy to work with! And our DJ was D&S and “there aint no party like a DNS party”

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had an idea of what I wanted before I went to India. The fifth dress that I saw at the first store I went to, to look for my wedding dress, was exactly what I had in mind. I think of my self as fairly lucky as that doesn’t happen often when most people travel to India! I also ended up buying the reception dress from the same store, that same day! Gauri Heritage in Vadodara had a great collection! My garba outfit was from Friendship in SantaCruz Mumbai and they also had a great collection.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
For our reception we had 4 live birch trees for decor which were 28 feet!! We both love nature, so it was awesome incorporating it into the decor. We later donated the trees to the community!

We hope you have a great rest of the day and a fantastic Christmas week! See you tomorrow for more!
