This time, we'll be taking a look at how an everlasting love story begins by taking you on a visual journey through Mitsu & Nipun's e-shoot, so get ready to be charmed! The happiness, the excitement, and the love that these two radiate in every single shot are so pure and real that you can feel how it gets passed on to you and brightens up your day! If you want to be part of this love story, you cannot miss today's gallery! It overflows with beautiful shots that you will love! Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Nipun proposed at our high school, Northwest High School, where our friendship blossomed into the next phase of our relationship. He surprised me with balloons and a DIY sign that spelled out, "N+M" with a heart around it - all made with rose petals. Then, we went to our favorite Italian restaurant, Sette Osteria, in DC where both of our families surprised and joined us. The last surprise for the night was at the Mayflower Hotel, where Nipun had all of our friends awaiting to party in the Presidential Suite! He chose all of the decoration for the suite from more balloons to diamond ring table scatter. I love DIY and have an eye for (even minor) decor, so the entire day was so meaningful to me and represented our 10 year relationship really well. Yes, I cried the entire 24 hours!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was the end! Haha, but seriously, it was having all of our ideas and desires come together with such amazing vendors and checking off boxes as months go by. The constant praise from my vendors and hotel coordinator of how amazing my planning and organization skills were really helped me stay motivated! I naturally love to plan everything so I decided not to hire a wedding planner. I had amazing vendors that communicated efficiently and in a timely manner (no matter how much I bugged them every single day)!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved the music and all of the genres we requested through out the day. Our venue has this amazing circle chandelier lighting in the ballroom, which people loved; it really brought the room together. Most importantly, everyone loved how everything was on time. Weddings have no time for IST!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Although the entire week was fun-filled and incredibly special to me, there were three moments that constantly replays in my mind.

Our first look was special to me because a girl grows up dreaming of her wedding day, including her Prince Charming. During our first look, I was overcome with joy because our wedding day was finally here and Nipun was indeed my Prince Charming all along.

Exchanging our vows was special to me because I was able to express how much he truly meant to me for the past decade and how much he will mean to me forever. Our relationship blossomed from middle school classmates in gym class to best friends in high school, and now to husband and wife. Yes, I cried the entire time!

Lastly, our photo session after the ceremony with our beloved puppy, Mia, was really special to me because she is our world and we finally became a family!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Brides- you and I both know it's not all rainbows and butterflies when it comes to planning a wedding. Tackle each vendor, idea, and desire day by day. Have a plan and be able to modify that plan. Be organized and communicate with everyone involved in the wedding planning process. This is not just your wedding, but it's also your husband to-be. Be patient and continue to have date nights. Just remember that in the end, it's all about marrying your best friend in front of your loved ones and nothing else should trump that.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
We would like to thank all of our amazing vendors (and Rover), family, and friends for being a part of our special week and weekend! We love you all so much and are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.

There is so much more to share, so don't go too far!
