Hello there, ladies! We know you were so captivated by the first part of Gannanthiny & Kumaran's wedding ceremony that you were dying for the second part, so wait no more and get ready to continue enjoying! We are starting right where we left off, at The Warehouse, where this event took place! In the first part, we focused on the backdrop for this ceremony; this time, we are focusing on what makes this event unique and unforgettable, and that is none other than our lovely couple: Gannanthiny & Kumaran! So, let's get this started, shall we? For the second part of the ceremony, Gannanthiny changed her outfit and burst into the room looking like a goddess dressed in a gorgeous red and golden lengha, after being glamorized by Timeless by Vinay, who designed a dreamy makeup and hairstyle. But that is not all! She added an extra touch of sparkle to her overall look, wearing enchanting pieces of jewelry from Anya Jewellery's collection. And we cannot forget about the artistic Mehndi designed by Glitterati Beauty! Simply amazing! And, you know who else looked amazing? It was none other than Kumaran, who attended this grand event wearing an all-white attire with delicate gold accents, from Aarathie Super Center. See more of this wedding ceremony, by taking a look at the shots captured by Samantha Ong Photography, in today's gallery!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Kumaran on an dating app and we were talking under a blind date feature and it was the 1 week of conversations under the blind chat that made me realize he was the one.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The proposal was of course a surprise and thoughtfully planned out by my husband.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Wedding planning was a breeze but it had its obstacles given we both are planners to begin with so we were at times not on the same page but it was good to have equal involvement from my husband.
All our vendors were unique and specifically hand picked for their talents and exceptional customer service.
Our decor and outfits and theme was all surrounding the fairytale vision as my husband always told me I was his dream come true and I too felt the same way. Even though it is something each couple feels within their love ours was different and devine and we wanted that feeling to resonate through the decor, outfits, etc and give that fairytale vibe to our guests too.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Well my initial saree was picked by myself however the irony of it was that after my husband saw me for the first time on our wedding day he told me that he was going to gift that exact same saree for me as a wedding gift and when he had gone back to purchase it, it was gone! He was terribly disappointed but was very surprised to see that we had the same wave length and it was me who unintentionally stole his gift!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Planning it with my now husband, we learned a lot about each other and who we were as an individual and how we work together. The planning helped us to grow our relationship and we felt like we were married before we actually got married.
The most special was the self designed wedding invitations and website. we tried to add our touch as much as possible and sought out vendors that were starting out to promote them in our journey!
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved the vibe, decor, theme and our traditions and most of all the food of course by our talented catering chef @brindle.berry! That's always the important of any wedding and our was amazing as we got the best western south asian food!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment leading to us tying the knot and my entrances as with the first I surprised him with my first saree that he also wanted and the second was a custom made saree he made for me with only his touches and I didn't see it till the moment before i draped it.
That's just us... Surprising each other forever and always!
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Our vision of our wedding was a western version of a Tamil wedding which included our cultural ceremony followed by a meet and greet session. Following meet and greet we did our civil registration and even wrote our own vows for each other and read each others' vows to each other. Shortly followed by an actual reception in which we included the dances from the wedding parties and of course shared our first dance!
The whole was magical!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy the process of planning and even though it is hard it is important to pay attention to the special and unique details that you both share and will look back at instead of focusing on spending money on extensive decor, etc. We tend to get carried away thinking the bigger the wedding the nicer but it's actually the more thoughtful and customized the wedding details to the couple the more special and memorable it is for the couple and the guests!
Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
