It takes brave people to do bold things, and what could be more bold than to tie your life to someone else's during this delicate time for the entire world? Like a ray of sunshine, Ruchi's DM on Instagram warmed the hearts of our entire team. Virtually of course! Ruchi & Brian were set to get married in grand fashion in a few days, however, when life changed their course, they did what any intelligent couple does, they pivoted. With their friends & family's best interests in mind, they got married in an intimate ceremony with only their parents, siblings, and frenchie Mylo at the bride's family home in Florida. The bride looked ravishing in a classic red lengha from Surya Sarees and jewelry from Jewellery by Kiran Khan. Tarak from Maharani Designs singlehandedly set up the mandap while the bride's family glammed her up inside, her mom, a freelance makeup artist, and her sister did her hair. The couple can't wait to reschedule their fabulous reception so they can celebrate their union with their entire circle. This family wedding celebration was expertly captured from six feet away by Nathan English Photography, so make sure you dive inside this Covid free gallery now!
From the bride: Week before we were hit with all of this news then saw that the CDC had banned parties of 50+. We had family coming in from all over the world, and some that are at higher risk than others, so we knew it would be best to keep the ceremony intimate and only have our immediate family there who had already flown in/drove to be with us before this pandemic started. At that point, it wasn’t about us and our big parties that we wanted to have, but we wanted to do what was best for everyone in our family. So, within a week we had to cancel everything. We informed our family and friends as to what we were doing and ceremony still happened! We are, however, rescheduling our reception for a later date because everyone would still like to come down and celebrate with us. So, as of now, we are just waiting until we are cleared to reschedule that! Hopefully this answered your questions! It definitely wasn’t easy, and this is of course the shortened version. But we had to have our family and friends
Best interests in mind. I truly believe it was better this way as our parents got to spend a lot of time together and we all got to hangout and enjoy these intimate moments that will last a lifetime!
Stay home, wash your hands, and let's get through this one beautiful wedding at a time together! Muah!
