Happy Tuesday, beautiful Maharanis! Today we have an action-packed wedding presented by R.A.G.artistry full of culture, emotions, merriment, fun, and lots of love! There is an endless amount of wedding inspiration brimming from Sandhya & Ashish's big wedding celebration that we can't wait to start sharing it with you all. So, let's not wait any longer and jump right into it! The celebrated team of Envi Event Planning orchestrated and executed every single moment of this grand event to perfection. From the Sangeet hosted at Ventanas to the wedding reception that concluded with the festivities, they took care of everything, and the result of their work is just beyond words! For the traditional wedding ceremony hosted at the Omni Hotel North Tower, Maharani Sandhya wore a glamorous dual-tone lengha and swoon-worthy golden jewelry, both from Image Boutique Shop By Surinder Bedi. And we cannot stress how much we loved her fashion choices. Not to mention that we adored the sleek hairstyle designed by Gunn Glamour Hair, Makeup, & Bridal, the exquisite makeup done by Erica Bogart Beauty, and the artistic Mehndi outlined by Beauty You Deserve. Everything complemented to perfection, praising this Maharanis innate beauty and making her look like a goddess for her long-awaited wedding day! After the traditional wedding ceremony, all the guests were invited to celebrate the newlyweds in a fabulous reception party, first in its class! And when we say that this is an unforgettable reception and a first in its class, we really mean it! This was the first-ever reception hosted on the field of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. How amazing is that! To enhance this fabulous experience, Myar Decor crafted an elegant and luxurious decor that set the mood for this closing gala. All the guests had the of their lives dancing to the beats of We Go Disco, ad enjoying the culinary experience prepared by Dhaval Patel and Art of Flavors Catering. Hands down, this was the wedding celebration Sandhya & Ashish always wanted and the best way to start their everlasting love story. Check more of this lovely couple in today's gallery. And if that is not enough, don't miss the visual delight by Kevin Hursh Films featured in today's Video Blog! There is so much to admire, so take your pen and notebook with you, and get ready to be amazed! You'll love it so much!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Ashish and I crossed paths in Fall of 2016 at a Falcons tailgate. We were introduced to each other through mutual friends. (Website gives a full description)
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Ashish planned the perfect proposal! It was Thanksgiving Day and we had planned to go to his sister's house for a wonderful dinner. Both of our families and friends were all having a fun time. Prior to eating dinner, we all wrapped around the island into a circle and took turns saying what we were thankful for. Ashish somehow managed to plan out where I would go right after him. (Of course by doing this, he knew that I would be so focused on my turn being next and not pay attention to him or what he was saying). During his turn, he talked about all of the things he was thankful for and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! For everyone that knows me, I am the hardest person to surprise but he did it! He somehow managed to get all of our families and friends together and plan the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
With Ashish and I both being Virgos, we were organized and ready to plan this wedding! From google spreadsheets to shared calendars, we were unstoppable!. Our experiences with Erica Bogart (Hair), Mital Dhodia (Decor), Surinder Bedi (Reception Outfit) and Dhaval Patel (Food) were phenomenal! Each one of our vendors went out of their way to make sure things were perfect for us on our big day!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Growing up with 2 sister's, my mom has always done our Indian clothes shopping for us. We have built a strong trust factor in knowing she will get exactly what we want. I told my mom I wanted something different and definitely wanted a coral color incorporated into the dress.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part for both Ashish and I was to plan a reception at the Mercedes Benz Stadium! Once we were told we had the venue lockdown on the date we wanted, we were super excited to start planning! To be the first ever wedding reception at this venue made it an even better experience!
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved everything about our wedding for food, decor and entertainment! But most of all, our guests loved having the experience of being able to sit on the field for our reception!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The first time stepping out on the field with everything set up. We walked onto the field to take pictures but both Ashish and I had to take a step back to take everything in and remember that moment forever. To be able to have our photos on the halo and screens inside the stadium was priceless!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
R. My words of wisdom for other brides- All of the fights and arguments that will come about during the planning process will not matter at the end of the day. Always remember the only thing that matters will be you and your significant other on your special day!
That is all for today, darlings! We hope you've enjoyed this fabulous wedding as much as we did. If so, don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new love story!
