Being adventurous and exploring new places made this couple’s dating period full of meet ups in new cities every weekend! That led to a life altering weekend in Clearwater, Florida in April 2019. Mehul had planned a date on the beach and to the bride’s delight she found a romantic setting with every little detail you could imagine! Walking towards the water, as the sun began to set, a proposal started their unique happily ever after.
The couple started to plan exactly a year before their wedding date March 1st, 2020. They decided to introduce each other's family and planned a family meeting at the groom’s sister’s residence in Ohio. We both wanted a beach wedding (the bride reports she wanted) so with sand, surf, and sun as inspiration they started to explore venues.
"I have always dreamed about wearing Sabyasachi on my wedding day. We went to Mumbai for our wedding shopping and I didn’t have any specifics in mind. I kept trying on various outfits, but my hearts just melted on this hot pink lengha that I chose!"
The most memorable moment for the bride was walking down the aisle, towards the mandap, ready to take her vows, with the everlasting ocean view in the background. She enthusiastically requested to share two tid bits of advice for future brides. The first, is be in the moment and enjoy every bit of the wedding day, and secondly and continue to date your spouse!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on the online dating app called DilMil. After one month of texting and talking, we decided to meet on Oct 15th 2018. It wasn't the love at first sight, but we were just so comfortable with each other when we met the first time. Everything was falling in place for both of us and we had that comfort level build in even at our first meeting. At that moment, we decided to take it further and spend more more time knowing each other.

We both being adventurous and love to explore new place, that being said we used to see each other almost every weekend in different cities. One time we were in Clearwater, Florida for a weekend in Apr'19. He had planned a date on the beach. We walked down the beach where he had everything set up on the beach from bottle of wine to basket of fruit and cheese. He was waiting for the sun to set to go on his knee. We walked towards the water and as sun started to set he went on his knee and he asked. It was the most amazing day of our life!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The planning took place exactly a year before our wedding date March 1st, 2020. In March'19, we decided to introduce each other's family and planned a family meeting Mehul's sister place in Ohio. We both wanted a beach wedding (okay I wanted) so we started exploring the venues with private beach to host our wedding. We narrowed down to two venues in Clearwater Beach, FL. Hilton Clearwater Beach & Resort and Wyndham resort. Since we wanted to have our ceremony on the beach and Hilton has its private beach, we decided to go with them.
The first visit with Hilton went fantastic as we laid out everything at first visit in terms of where we want to have all pre-wedding events. There were some hiccups down the road with Venue, but eventually everything worked out.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
We both love planning may it be any an event or a perfect vacation. Wedding planning process gave us whole different perspective for each other likes and dislikes and brought us even closer. We worked out each and every details from shortlisting the vendors to finalizing decor color theme and food cuisine for each day. We enjoyed every bit of it
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everyone talked about the food , energy with which our friends performed the dances on sangeet night and mostly importantly the location for the wedding
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Walking on the aisle towards the mandap with everlasting Ocean view to take vows for lifetime

Be in the moment and enjoy every bit of the wedding day and continue to date your spouse.
