Hello, ladies! We are glad you could join us today because we are back with another romantic and inspiring story that will surely take your breath away! If you are a wedding enthusiast like we are, you will absolutely love Deepa & Ankit's intimate wedding celebration. Like other couples around the globe,  Deepa & Ankit's wedding plans had to change. They originally planned a huge destination wedding in Mexico; however, the pandemic completely changed their plans. After months of going back and forth, they decided to get married in December at Deepa's family's tropical fruit farm by West Palm Beach, Florida. Right from the start, we have to say that this was an intimate ceremony marked by the beauty of our gorgeous Maharani! She looked so beautiful that not even the sky could resist dropping a couple of tears of joy while seeing her walking down the aisle. The classy hairstyle and the nude makeup by Sumaiya Waheed Makeup Artist resulted in a dreamy look that still has us sighing. Anywhere you looked, the scene overflowed with love and joy, and we are nothing but thankful to Vanessa and Johnny Photography and Films for the incredible shots taken during this celebration, as every single image is a cornucopia of beauty, love, and flair. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Ankit and I were actually supposed to meet two years before we actually did. Our mutual friends, who were dating at the time, tried to tell me about this really great guy in Chicago who they thought I'd really hit it off with. They were meeting him that night for drinks and invited me. I had to work the next day so didn't end up coming. The same friends ended up getting married, and Ankit and I were both in the bridal/groom party. We finally met at the wedding, and immediately hit it off. We started dating long-distance, as I had moved away from Chicago and the rest is history!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Ankit and I went to Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida in February 2020. It was my first time there and I was so excited. Ankit was distracted and nervous all morning, and looked appalled when I told him I really wanted to go on a roller coaster first-thing in the morning. I had no idea why, but he was gripping his backpack like his life depended on it the entire time. It all made sense when he finally led me to Cinderella's castle. Under the guise of posing for a picture in front of the castle, he led me there and instead dropped down to one knee and popped the question. He had planned for photographers to be there and capture every moment of the proposal. It really was a fairytale!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our wedding planning was honestly a whirlwind. We had originally been planning a destination wedding, but the pandemic hit soon after we got engaged. We made the decision to do a small wedding in December 2020 on our farm. We decided to do this in October, so really had very little time to plan. My parents really worked so tremendously hard to get our farm ready for our big day and make everything absolutely perfect.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I wanted to wear traditional bridal red on our wedding day. I'm South Indian, so it was very important to my parents that I wear a Kanchipuram silk saree for the ceremony. We actually had it hand-loomed based off the colors and designs that I requested, which made it literally one-of-a-kind. I have video footage of the talented loomers in India crafting my saree, which is so special.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was knowing that at the end of the day, Ankit and I were getting married soon! Everything felt so up in the air and uncertain with COVID, so it felt amazing knowing that no matter what, we would still be getting married at the end of the year.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved that we had it on our farm, which was just an absolutely beautiful venue. It is filled with greenery and flowers, and made it feel like a tropical paradise. We even had cows in the very back that our guests loved visiting!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The night before the ceremony, we had a small welcome dinner. Ankit's father, who was a well-known musician in the Tampa community, passed away in 2012 and I know he was really missing him. I wanted to honor his memory and make him part of our celebrations, so I surprised Ankit with a dance that I choreographed set to audio of his father singing. It was a very special moment and I hope it made him feel like his father was with us, celebrating.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We rented a large tent and had the entire dinner/ceremony/lunch outdoors. We had a family friend help us with all the decorations. We also used natural elements from our farm to decorate like banana trees and flowers. It was simple but just beautiful.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Our wedding was nothing like I had originally thought it would be, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Brides- at the end of the day, you get to marry your most-favorite person in the world, and that's all that truly matters!

That is all for this week, ladies! Remember to join us on Monday for more.
