My gorgeous Maharanis, another week full of astonishment and romance is here, so let's start with Ambka & Kapil's magnific wedding! Our couple enjoyed a lovely celebration at Akbar Restaurant with their loved ones. With the assistance of Stylish Events behind the curtains to bring their fantasy to reality with phenomenal decor and perfect ambiance, these lovebirds knew they would have a wonderful day to relish in their love. This thoughtful duo pampered their guests with mouthwatering treats from Dolce and Gelato and Starbucks. I bet everyone loved this! But now, let's talk about fashion. Our Maharani shone brighter than ever, thanks to Pure Bridal Beauty's assistance. Ambka's natural beauty was complemented with a delicate mehndi design only Mehndi by Sonam could deliver. This phenomenal artist ensured our Maharani dazzled more than one. Ladies, the bride's elegant garments from Nazranaa were heavenly! We cannot leave the groom behind. Kapil was just as handsome, with his stunning tux from Biltmore Tuxedos to show off his most fashionable side and cheerful dance moves, with DJ Sunny Entertainment in charge of keeping up a vivid ambiance no one could resist joining in! What a lovely way to walk into their newly-formed life together! Our gorgeous couple will hold these everlasting memories close to their hearts for many years to come. The remarkable team from Red Bank Studio made it happen by capturing each instant in a delightful set of pictures. So, ladies, be my guests and enjoy this great and sweet gallery we've compiled for you.
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Kapil and I met on shaadi.com! We went on our first date in May of 2018. After that date, we could not stop texting each other all of the time and we went on a date every weekend after that. I loved how direct Kapil was, he let me know after the first date that he liked me and wanted to see me again (so refreshing in a world full of ghosting). Kapil really goes out of his way to make sure I am happy. He always makes me feel safe, puts me first, and respects me. I can't imagine my life without him. He really is my kappilyeverafter =)
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Kapil and I went on a trip to Quebec City in December of 2019 and he proposed while we were there. It was perfect and encompassed all of the things I love - Kapil, Christmas, and travel!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We initially planned on having our mehndi, ceremony, and reception all in New Jersey on 9/2020 with catering from the best Indian restaurant in Long Island (Akbar), but of course had to cancel all of the big festivities because of COVID. We were able to get our deposit back from our original venue, so then decided to switch gears. We had a small wedding at a mandir in New Jersey with 10 people on 9/2020 because we didn't want to delay getting married. We had a delayed wedding reception in 3/2022 at Akbar and it was perfect! I actually had my sweet 16 there back in the day, so I felt it was a nice full-circle moment. I loved my hair and makeup - I had done 2 trials and thought Pure Bridal Beauty captured my vision perfectly!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I got my outfit from Nazranaa since I found their selection and service to be the best for bridalwear. Went to a few different stores and was blown away when I went there.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
It was fun to go shopping, finalize our menu, choose the flavors for our gelato cart, and pick up the party favors - Insomnia cookies...yum!
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests definitely complimented us on the cookies, gelato, and food overall. And, DJ Sunny Entertainment really got the party going with amazing songs, our dance floor was never empty!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I really enjoyed the speeches from our close friends/family, they were so heart-warming and funny
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Try to enjoy every minute, it goes by sooo quickly after you have been planning for such a long time!
That is all for today, beautiful queens! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more love stories.
