Darlings, join me in today's wedding tale of Tracy & Ajay at the splendid Hilton Melbourne, Florida. With its sweeping panoramic views of the shimmering coastline and the city's captivating skyline, this iconic venue offers an unrivaled setting for any event, whether a grand celebration or an intimate gathering. Ensuring that the dream-like aura remained undisturbed, the meticulous planning and design by Rammel Karamsadkar from Occasions by Shangri-la crafted an ambiance that was nothing short of ethereal. The vivid floral and décor painted a picture of harmony. The finesse of Samanben Patel's bridal draping and sari tying illuminated Tracy's natural charm, making her the cynosure of all eyes. As the evening transitioned into a starlit night, the gastronomic journey curated by Taste of India transported everyone to the lanes of traditional Indian flavors. To add the proverbial cherry on top, the delicious cake and treats from Green Turtle Market & Cafe were nothing less than a culinary masterpiece that complemented the event's grandeur. Colmenares Photography captured every precious moment, weaving them into a timeless tapestry of memories delicately and carefully.
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met while we were both working in Bozeman, Montana in 2019. Ajay immediately stood out to me as someone who was confident, kind, and incredibly interesting. We hit it off instantly which was a good thing, considering all of the obstacles that laid ahead of us between COVID, our individual military careers, and long distance.

I was visiting Ajay in Rhode Island, where he was temporarily stationed, and we were spending a weekend together before I deployed a few weeks later. It was a bittersweet time, given that we were so grateful to spend time together, but we knew we’d have to be a part of it for over a year. We did our best to enjoy every single second of it and took an overnight trip to Block Island. We rented a moped to explore, and when we stopped at a beach to watch the sunset, I turned around to find Ajay on one knee.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The wedding simply would have been impossible without my in-laws, and especially my mother-in-law, taking on the challenge to plan a wedding for us while we lived so far away. She handled everything to the very last detail and executed it flawlessly!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Do you have a favorite color in mind?
My mother-in-law took me with her to Dubai and India to pick out my wedding clothes. I didn’t know what to expect and was blown away by all the options. It was hard to choose, but we landed on one that made me feel like royalty!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Getting to collaborate with my mother-in-law and see how many people were willing to sacrifice their time to throw such a memorable event for us.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The event as a whole was a huge success, but the particular favorites were the dosa bar, the kids' room with entertainment and childcare, and the Bollywood dances.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Walking down the aisle and taking in the fact that loved ones traveled from all over the world to come celebrate and support us.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Everything will work out in the end, and ultimately, it’s all about enjoying the moment with friends and family.
