From the moment guests arrived, they were transported to a magical world created by the team's expertise. The stunning floral arrangements and decor by Catherine Wayman were breathtaking, and KIS (cubed) Events, the event designer, perfectly curated every detail. The Baraat was kept lively and energetic by Shilpa Entertainment, who kept everyone on their feet with her music. It celebrated love and the perfect start to their journey together. Flawless Beauty by Pauline made sure Dimple looked breathtaking on her big day. Rana Ranbir's live music set the tone for the evening, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere that had everyone swaying along. Vipul Gupta's catering was divine, with a menu featuring a delicious fusion of traditional and modern South Asian cuisine that left everyone wanting more. Shilpa Entertainment is a talented and dynamic DJ who knows how to bring the party to life. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met each other like many others in these modern times…online! I knew he was the one when I saw how he treated my family and immersed himself into my culture.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had been dating for quite some time and while I kept bugging him about wanting a proposal, I was completely shocked when it happened. The week before he proposed, he told me he had a work trip, but actually went to Florida to ask my parents for their blessing. On the day of the proposal, we met a few friends for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants where he got down on one knee. He also had the same musician who was singing during our very first date singing during the proposal. It was perfect!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I started by picking a few dates that worked for our families. From there we started our search for the perfect venue. I knew I wanted it to be close to home, have the option for indoor or outdoor events, and have an overall resort feel. Once we decided on the venue, I started the search for my outfits, hair and makeup artist, caterer, photographer/cinematographer, and entertainment. It was important to me to book the vendors I really wanted to work with right away.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I did a lot of research on Instagram/online looking at various designers and narrowed down the designers based on the style I was looking for.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process were the parts where the groom and I combined our ideas to come up with unique and fun experiences for our guests during the wedding. My groom would also say that the menu tasting was his favorite part of the planning process :)

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Many of our guests particularly enjoyed the food during all of our events.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My groom’s reaction during our first look was such a special moment for me that I’ll never forget.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We included special touches into each event that were personal to us. For instance, our welcome bags were actually KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) buckets as a nod to where the groom is from. We also had dances performed by family and friends during all of our events, which made for a truly special experience.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Be very organized during the planning process and delegate tasks so that you can enjoy your big day. Things will go wrong and that’s okay! At the end of the day, you are marrying the love of your life and that’s all that should matter.

Also, pick vendors that are easy to work with and flexible especially when things go wrong and there are last minute changes. I was so lucky that I had amazing vendors that made our dream wedding come true!

After the ceremony, the couple cut their magnificent cake from A Piece of Cake & Desserts. All enjoyed the delicious treats, and the night ended with a bang, with the couple dancing to the beats of Krish Entertainment, Inc. Hakim's Studio did a phenomenal job capturing every moment of Anisa & Imran's wedding day. Their cinematography skills were top-notch, and they used the latest equipment and technology to create a stunning video that perfectly captured the essence of the wedding. The team was professional and courteous, ensuring they did not disrupt any festivities while still getting the perfect shot. The video they created will undoubtedly be cherished by the couple and their families for years.

They captured every aspect of the couple's love story with style and grace. The festivities began with a vibrant sangeet at Deewan Banquet, where family and friends danced the night away. The following day, the couple exchanged vows at the Gurudwara Bridgewater, surrounded by their loved ones and adorned in stunning floral decor by Wedding Design. Ronica looked radiant, thanks to the talented Looks by Jassi, who created a natural makeup look that perfectly complemented her gorgeous bridal outfit. Her hair was styled in a soft and romantic updo, adorned with beautiful floral accents. Jassi also expertly draped Ronica's saree, ensuring every detail was perfectly in place. Jassi's attention to detail and commitment to excellence is evident in every project she takes on. She takes the time to get to know each of her clients and works closely with them to create a personalized look that highlights their unique features and enhances their natural beauty. Henna by Jahnavi was a stunning addition to her already beautiful outfit. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on Dil mil- a dating app. On October 31, I was at the airport when I decided to message Amrit on the app with no hope in mind that I may receive a message back. A few hours later, I was at a family reunion when I received a notification from Amrit.
After a few weeks of messaging and talking on the phone, we decided that it was finally time to meet. After two dates, we realized we were inseparable. When they say you know, you know!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I always wanted something with florals and non-traditional. Red was always the traditional color and for me that was too bright, I preferred pastel colors. I got some recommendations from friends to check out Sajda in Edison, NJ. I walked into Sajda the first day I was doing outfit trials and I instantly fell in love with my ivory lengha with embroidered florals in every color. It was the first outfit I tried and I instantly told myself this is the one!

For the reception, I knew I wanted three things: classy. gown, and gold. From the moment we started outfit shopping, I always had an idea of the gold gown I wanted. It was a Sabyasachi gold gown that was simple yet very elegant. After trips to many stores and one month left till the big day, I ended up back at Sajda. I showed them the picture of what I envisioned. They had a gold lengha they transformed into a gown. It was absolutely gorgeous!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Let's be real - planning a wedding is not fun! The amount of stress to make sure everything is perfect will drive you nuts! However, it taught us that we work well as a team.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Till this day (five months later), we are still receiving numerous compliments from friends and family about how organized and fun our wedding events were. They enjoyed how well versed and short the speeches were at the reception. However, they couldn't stop talking about how DELICIOUS the food was at the reception (which we did not try because we forgot to eat, haha)!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There is no specific moment - everything about the wedding and events leading up to the wedding were very special! It was extremely special seeing everyone we love gather together and have a great time. No one wanted to stop dancing - even on the party bus to the after party! :)

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
For the Brides- To-Be:
Planning a wedding is probably a stressful time you and your family will go through. Enjoy every moment of it and try to be patient. There may be times (many times) where you may think things are not going as planned and you will not have your PERFECT day. Just remember, the result is spending the rest of your life with your best friend and that's all that matters. Make sure not to stress out the week of the wedding and enjoy every moment of it!
