Santorini, GR Indian Wedding by Hanna Monika Photography

Under the golden hues of a Santorini sunset, where the Aegean Sea whispers tales of eternal love, Devisha & James embarked on their "happily ever after." Their wedding at the breathtaking Santorini Gem was nothing short of cinematic brilliance, blending Devisha's Indian heritage with the charm of Greek elegance. Crystal chandeliers glistening against a mirrored mandap adorned with vibrant blooms by Red Box Days, a stunning backdrop that could give Hollywood movie sets a run for their money.

With the expert touch of DW Events, the mandap shimmered with mirrored panels and lush, cascading floral arrangements, creating a perfect harmony of tradition and modern elegance. The ceremony was steeped in meaningful rituals and heartfelt moments, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Aegean Sea. Guests, dressed in vibrant attire, brought bursts of color to the serene Greek landscape—a vibrant contrast as striking as Devisha's intricate mehndi, which beautifully told the story of their love.

As the dulcet tones of traditional Indian music filled the air, Devisha, draped in an exquisite creation by Peony and Lotus, made her grand entrance. Her ivory and gold bridal ensemble, paired with Serena Worldwide's artistry in hair and makeup and the incredible mehndi art by Krunal Tailor Henna Artist , was nothing less than regal. James, equally dapper in his ivory sherwani, stood waiting, a mix of nerves and joy dancing in his eyes.

It was as if the world faded away, leaving only the two of them in that magical moment. Hanna Monika Photography skillfully captured the intensity of their gazes, the quiet joy on James' face, and the soft smile that lit up Devisha's as she inched closer to her future. The sunlight sparkled off the mirrored mandap, casting dreamy reflections around them as if the universe was celebrating their love. Each frame was a masterpiece, brimming with raw emotion that gives you goosebumps and leaves you believing in the power of love at first sight.

As the night unfurled, DJ Deebee brought the beats, ensuring no one left the dance floor unshaken. The pièce de résistance? A jaw-dropping fireworks display by Skylight Fireworks painted the Santorini night sky with bursts of color, perfectly matching the couple's electric chemistry.

Moorpark, CA Fusion Wedding by Samson Productions

Introducing Shikha & Brian's Spectacular Fusion Wedding at Moorpark Country Club, where cultural elegance met the California sunset, celebrating equal parts charm and grandeur. The gazebo, adorned with the delicate blooms from Kalyana Deepika Weddings, was an absolute showstopper. From DIY decor for the Mehendi at a family friend's house to the personalized touches like Sterling, their beloved cat, making an appearance on cocktail napkins and the cake topper, every detail of this wedding was infused with personality and warmth.

Shikha & Brian's love story began in a Chicano Studies class in college—an unexpected twist for two non-Chicano students captivated by the same cultural journey. For Shikha, it was love at first sight; her heart raced as she passed her number to Brian on the last day of class. That leap of courage sparked a bond that grew stronger with every shared experience, every laugh, and every moment of mutual support.

Shikha's bridal look was a blend of tradition and modern flair. Her red bridal lengha was paired with a stunning pink veil, chosen to create a delightful contrast. With Drea V. Makeup at her side, Shikha's look was flawless—a testament to her vision and perseverance through the trials of wedding planning.

And for the reception? A breathtaking forest green ensemble capturing the festive spirit of the season. As Shikha & Brian took the dance floor, they radiated joy. The festivities were lively, with Rasraj catering a feast that delighted every palate, while Subham Events ensured that every detail was polished to perfection. It was a night of laughter, heartfelt toasts, and unforgettable dances.

Samson Productions deserves a standing ovation! They didn't just capture moments; they crafted a visual love story that showcased the magic between Shikha & Brian. They are the perfect choice for anyone looking for a photography team that brings their love story to life gracefully and authentically. Among the memorable moments, one shines brightest. After a busy day, Shikha and Brian found a quiet spot under twinkling lights. The rare "halo" moon cast a soft glow over them, creating an intimate moment that captures the peaceful beauty amid the festivities.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met in college in a Chicano Studies class. Both of us were not Chicanos, but it was so cool to have met in a class where we were learning about a new culture; while also both being from our own cultures. I had a huge crush on Brian and was too nervous to give him my number, but towards the end of the semester, I worked up the courage and gave him my number. He immediately texted me, and we made plans to hang out. We both instantly felt a special connection. I always knew he was the one.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Wedding planning had its ups and downs, but it was so fun for me to research other weddings and wedding trends. Finding a hair and makeup artist was the hardest decision for me. I had friends and family with different opinions about how much I should be spending on hair/makeup, but in the end, I went with Makeup by Drea, who was my top pick since the beginning. I had been following her Instagram for a while and knew that I needed her for my wedding day. I reached out to her so late, but she miraculously had availability for my wedding date and was able to work her magic that day. I also enjoyed picking out the color theme for the wedding ceremony as well as the reception. My wedding planner and her team were HUGE support in making the day as incredible as it was. Subham Events was able to cater to all my needs while maintaining vendors within my budget. Kavita, my wedding planner, was able to get me an amazing photography/videography team with Samson Productions. They did an amazing job!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Finding my Lengha was one of the most difficult decisions I made for the wedding. I fell in love with a bridal Lengha online, but it was out of my budget. From there, I had family in India who traveled to so many different bridal stores until they finally found THE DRESS. I always knew I wanted the traditional Indian red for my bridal Lengha. I also wanted a separate pink veil to contrast the traditional red. For the reception look, I knew I wanted to go with a dark forest green, especially since the wedding was a few days after Christmas. It fits the Christmas vibes very nicely.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
One of the most enjoyable parts of the planning process was coming up with the color themes and coordinating outfits with my groom (Brian), as well as helping my family members coordinate their outfits. I also enjoyed getting closer to all my family during this time. I could not have done it without their support and help in this process. I cannot recall the amount of calls I made to my mom and sister regarding all the little details about the wedding.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests really loved our venue. It was located at the beautiful Moorpark Country Club. The outdoor portion of the venue was incredible, with the dreamy gazebo and hanging lights across the trees. The golf course surrounded by mountains made for some incredible photos not only for our wedding album but also for our guests, who used the opportunity to get a little photoshoot in for themselves.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
One very special moment that Brian (groom) and I shared was when we were finally in our reception outfits and were able to take a private moment on the outside part of the venue. We took so many dreamy photos under the beautiful dangling lights. That evening, we were fortunate enough to have a one-of-a-kind "halo" moon, which made the moment even more special. When we both look back at those photos, we instantly feel the emotions we felt at that extra moment.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Mehendi ceremony: our mehendi ceremony took place at a very gracious family friend's home. We kept it small, with only family and close friends attending. Many of my friends were non-desi, so it was their first time seeing a bridal henna or even getting a henna tattoo. The decor was all DIY with the help of friends and family. The outfit I picked for that ceremony incorporated the traditional green.

Haldi ceremony: the ceremony started with the Ganesh Pooja and Grahshanti Pooja, followed by the haldi ceremony. I put a lot of work into getting the perfect hair look. My cousin, who is a hair/makeup artist, helped me get ready for that day. She did my hair based on a Pinterest board I sent her.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
On the day of the wedding, time will fly by. Take a moment while you're getting ready with your friends/family and soak in all the emotions and appreciate all those who are surrounded by you.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
We wanted to incorporate our cat (Sterling) into our wedding, so we included him as our cake topper as well as on our cocktail hour napkins (not pictured).
The jewelry and all outfits were imported from India, including outfits for Brian's (groom) family.

Cheers to a lifetime filled with radiant smiles, endless dance moves, and cherished memories.

Wrentham, MA Fusion Wedding by Nicole Chan Photo & Video

Nupur & Ryan's wedding was the epitome of a fairytale fusion celebration, blending traditional Hindu customs with a vibrant New England flair. Nestled along the serene shores of Lake Pearl in Wrentham, this wedding had nature, love, laughter, and a baraat entrance that shocked everyone.

The couple met in the Bay Area, where Ryan proposed after a day of seaside bliss in Santa Cruz. So, it was only fitting that their wedding was filled with scenic beauty and water views. Talk about making an entrance! Nupur walked down the aisle in a stunning outfit by Annu's Creation, a masterpiece of white silk adorned with intricate red and green peacocks and golden florals. Wait for it—tiny painted faces! Ryan matched his bride's color scheme in a custom sherwani by Swati Couture, looking like he'd just stepped out of a movie. Henna Cafe truly elevated the beauty of this celebration with intricate mehndi that was nothing short of artwork. Soraya Events masterfully coordinated each element to harmonize with the stunning lakeside setting, curating a seamless experience from the baraat to the final dance.

The ceremony was nothing short of magical. With Zuzu's Petals transforming the lakeside venue into a floral paradise, guests were immersed in the couple's unique love story, amplified by the personal touch of Ryan's mother, who collaborated with the florist to create a jaw-dropping decor. But the magic didn't stop at the ceremony. Nupur swapped her traditional attire for the reception for a midnight blue lehenga by Seema Gujral. Under the evening sky, she sparkled as she twirled with Ryan, both of them stealing glances that said a thousand words. And yes, the sapphires in her jewelry set added an extra layer of "Wow!" Their first dance had everyone cheering, thanks to Boston Light and Sound's impeccable DJ skills and a playlist with guests hitting the dance floor all night.

Each moment was beautifully captured by Nicole Chan Photo & Video, who expertly froze the essence of this vibrant fusion wedding in time. Nicole's work involved taking photos and weaving a visual story reflecting their journey. With every glance and each precious detail captured, Nupur & Ryan's love story unfolded like a beautifully crafted tale, leaving family and friends with memories to cherish forever. Here's to a lifetime of love and endless celebrations for this unforgettable duo!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I love spreadsheets, so that’s how I kept track of all the planning. The very first tab was a checklist that I found on Google and modified for our specific needs. It had all the due dates for everything that needed to be done, and I marked each item as completed. Other tabs in the spreadsheet included our ever-evolving guest list, vendor list with quotes, song list, and more. Having this centralized file made the process feel more manageable.

We wanted an outdoor wedding, so this was the basis for our venue search. We enlisted the help of our families to visit locations in Massachusetts for us while we were living on the West Coast.

For the decor theme, my only desire was to have bright colors. Ryan's mom and our florist took charge of the "colorful" theme with little other direction, and they were able to create the perfect flower arch, swags, centerpieces, mandap draping, and even matching flowers on our cake.

Our photographer and videographer were our biggest splurge. It was important to us that our pictures captured the day candidly and naturally, without our wedding turning into a big production or movie set. Photography was a priority for me because I knew the photos and videos would be one of the only concrete things remaining for us to revisit after the wedding was over.

Choices for desi hair and makeup artists that could also help with lehenga draping were surprisingly limited. I was lucky to have found someone who was easy to work with and was able to create the look I wanted without even having had a trial session. In hindsight, my hair and makeup artist was also instrumental in helping me stay on time for both the wedding and reception, which included an entire outfit/hair/makeup change on a tight schedule.

Our DJs were true, long-time professionals in the New England wedding business world, and they were able to provide countless insights to help us vet and select our other vendors. They were also critical to making the day’s events flow smoothly and keeping our guests entertained, starting from the baraat and continuing through the last song at the reception.

Finally, we hired a month-of coordinator who was essential in bringing everything together in the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day of. This afforded us peace of mind so that Ryan, my family, and I could focus on enjoying the festivities with as little stress as possible.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My ceremony outfit was a modern take on a traditional Gujarati wedding dress that I fell in love with on Pinterest one day and eventually tracked down to find the designer. I wanted a white base with red and green accents, and the designer was able to customize the dress’ colors per my request. Ryan's ceremony outfit was a custom sherwani from Swati Couture in Palo Alto, CA, made to match my outfit’s colors.

My reception outfit was a midnight blue sequined lehenga. I wanted a dark color that would look elegant and something that would sparkle on the dance floor. Ryan's reception outfit was a custom Jodhpuri suit from Swati Couture, made to complement the blue of my dress. Ryan picked the material and cut it specifically to be comfortable for him. It had a timeless look with a modern fit.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We heard from several guests that they enjoyed our ceremony. For many, it was their first time attending an Indian or Hindu wedding. Our officiant did an excellent job of explaining each step of the wedding to the guests, translating the meaning of the traditional Sanskrit words into English. This kept our guests engaged and involved throughout the hour-long ceremony.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Not just one, but many - the ceremony itself, hearing each of our brother’s thoughtful speeches at the reception, and dancing with friends and family.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
There are countless decisions to be made throughout the planning process. Focus on the aspects that are most important to you and your future spouse, and try to leave the other details to your planner/friends/family, who can help unload some of the burden.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
The best part of the wedding was being able to celebrate with all the people we care about in the same place at the same time.

It is a fairytale where two cultures intertwine, creating a vibrant celebration of togetherness.

Nashua, NH Fusion Wedding by Sadowski Photography

Paige & Suhail's fusion wedding was nothing short of magical in the heart of New Hampshire. The beautiful Sheraton Nashua, grand architecture, and modern yet timeless charm provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. The venue's spacious ballrooms, adorned with elegant chandeliers and stunning décor, set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

When guests walked in, they were greeted by a breathtaking display courtesy of Crimson & Clover. The floral arrangements were a sight, with lush blooms whispering "romance" with every petal. The décor seamlessly blended Western sophistication and South Asian vibrancy, proving that something stunning happens when two worlds come together. The exquisite cuisine from Kashmir Indian Restaurant elevated the culinary experience. Known for its authentic flavors and diverse menu.

And let's talk about Paige for a second. She was the epitome of grace in her gown, with a smile that could light up the entire room. Suhail? Let's just say the groom was equally dashing, rocking his attire confidently, saying, "Yep, I'm the lucky one." Together, they made a picture-perfect pair that Sadowski Photography captured flawlessly. Trust us, the photos are the kind you frame in your living room and show off to anyone who visits, even if they've already seen them a dozen times.

Now, what's a wedding without a little fun, right? Your Way DJ kept the energy alive and packed the dance floor all night. There wasn't a dull moment, whether it was traditional tunes that got the family up for some cultural dance-offs or the latest hits that had everyone feeling the beat. As the night ended, it was clear this wasn't just any wedding. It celebrated love, unity, and the blending of two beautiful cultures. The kind of wedding makes you say, "Wow, that was something special!"
