From the bride: "For the reception my groom himself insisted I once again break the traditions and wear a white gown instead of an indian wear, to be the princess that I've always been (wink wink)! This must've been the most fun and exciting part of the entire planning process, to hunt for that perfect gown! After visits to several bridal salons all over the city and the boroughs I finally found it at this wonderful privately owned bridal boutique in Great Neck, LI. It was the perfect mermaid-shaped ivory gown with the perfect amount of embellishments on it and just the right amount of body and flare to make me feel like a Cinderella!" That is just about the sweetest thing I've ever heard!

With a successful sangeet at World Fair Marina and Lambo Baraats leading the ceremony, the pink-hued reception will surely satisfy!

Welcome back to a world of wedding wonder, Maharanis! This glorious day begins as Maharani Raina gets glammed up in princess perfection as Jashim Jalal Photography catches all the beauty on film. Her ruby red lengha choli is a real standout and I love how the sky blue bridesmaids' saris are just so complementary! Too fabulous! This charming bride and groom take a few portraits with an awesome lambo in tow (thanks to Lambo Baraats) and then head off to their outdoor wedding designed by Stylish Events. This effervescent event is just too sweet! From the sensational sangeet at the World Fair Marina to this delightful ceremony, it seems clear that this wedding only gets better! From the bride: "It was kind of difficult to decide when to have my hair up or down or neither for three different occasions. But with the help of an amazing and NYC's top most hairstylist, we were able to conquer the three days with glory! Makeup was done by my maid of honor who also is a very talented MUA, which made it very easy as I completely trusted her work and had the opportunity to play around with different looks several times before the D-day."

My, oh, my! This wedding feature has me on cloud nine and I'm so excited to share it with you! It all begins with the sangeet where Jashim Jalal Photography follows Maharani Raina as she twirls to her heart's content in a gorgeous sea foam green lengha. Can this bridal look be any more perfect?! I just love the color, the ruffles, the details on the back, and the flawless makeup and hair that make this bride mermaid chic! (I want to be part of HER world!) World Fair Marina is transformed by Stylish Events and the party is in full force! This is only the beginning and I can't get enough; I'll be over at the gallery!

From the bride: "I had come across a particularly gorgeous lehenga by Payal Singhal. The lehenga had ruffles all over the skirt starting from the knee down, giving the whole outfit a very fun and edgy feel to it, which exactly represented my mood for the official kick-off party for my wedding! I did though make few changes to the outfit, by making the skirt and the blouse entirely sequinced and sketching out the entire blouse's design with several crystal chains and embellishments on the back, to make it unique and stand out."

The magic continues, Maharanis! The Palmer House Hilton Grand Ballroom is transformed into a dazzling forest of enchanting style and our beautiful bride has switched into a slammin' bright tangerine lengha choli with radiant silver detail! This wedding is seriously so gorgeous! Modern Image Studios snaps, snaps, snaps as these chic newlyweds pose for a few pre-reception portraits then slice into their dreamy five-tier cake. I absolutely LOVE the rustically whimsical design of this affair; all the twisting, reedy branches and sweet bird cages are just as lovely as can be. Let's raise a glass of champagne to toast this truly imaginative and inspired event! Cheers! I'm on my way to the gallery for more!

From the bride: "We enjoyed being able to bring our dreams and creativity to life, while working through everything together. I had always wanted an outdoor wedding immersed within nature and trees, and being able to have our wedding at the Palmer House was a blessing and a wonderful compromise, as we could host all of our guests and still be able to portray the feeling of an outdoor forest wedding."

Modern Image Studios catches up with our beaming bride just moments before her whimsical ceremony for some extremely sweet portraits with her bridesmaids. The rich colors of their deep violet and emerald saris are a fan-tab-u-lous complement to our Maharani's exceptional lengha choli. Their soft pink and bright purple bridal bouquets are too pretty and I think this party is ready to walk down the aisle for the main event! And once we're inside—wow! That mandap is entirely inspired with an enchanted forest ambiance filled with dripping branches, tiny twinkling lanterns, and fragrant florals. Yanni Design Studio has knocked this decor out of the park and into a realm of fantasy! I can't wait to see the complete collection of stylish images in the gallery! 

From the bride: "Our wedding took place in the Grand Ballroom at the Palmer House Hilton. The theme for the wedding was whimsical, haunted, forest elements, and elegance brought together. Yanni Design Studio created our dream mandap, and while walking down the aisle, I felt so thankful, blessed and inspired. As I walked down the aisle to 'Teri Ore' with my father, I saw my groom begin to cry, and I followed suit. It was my favorite moment of the wedding and it gives me butterflies to think of it even a few months later."
