Team Maharani's Choice : New York Indian Fusion Wedding

The Maharanis and I sat around HQ and when it came time to vote for our favorite Indian wedding of 2011 as Team MW, we agreed unanimously.  This Indian fusion wedding is filled with glitz and glam by David Tutera, romantic moment caught by Susan Stripling, and an engagement ring that will make every Maharani squeal with delight.  So, be prepared to be blown away once again, because an Indian fusion wedding like this one is even prettier the second time around!

It's a good thing this ring isn't mine, I would faint every time I laid eyes on it! Be right back!

The Maharanis at HQ and I easily came up with a zillion reasons why this wedding was our favorite.  While I love the color of her blue lengha, Shivani loved her colorful, Bollywood-ed out bridesmaids, and Neha, of course, fell head over "heels" for those Rene Caovilla shoes. With all of these details captured through the expert eye of Susan Stripling Photography this Indian fusion wedding is guaranteed to make your heart go pitter patter. Blending contemporary elements with traditional style, non other than the AH-maz-ing David Tutera planned the entire event fabulously. So, get ready and feast your eyes on this!

New York Indian Wedding by Susan Stripling Photography + David Tutera

I can't believe that we are at the final Indian wedding feature of 2011!  It's been a fantastic year of inspiration and ideas, but today's New York Indian wedding by Susan Stripling Photography really captured our hearts. I just feel so lucky that the creative eyes of Susan Stripling and ultimate wedding designer David Tutura submitted this beauty to us, so we can marvel at each and every image.  Oh, and brides wondering whether or not they should wear a veil on the big day, I think that this first picture proves the point.

Editor's Favorite : New York Indian Wedding by Wrinkle In Time Photography & Design House Decor

From the Royal wedding of William & Kate to Kim Kardashian’s wedding where the flowers lasted longer than the nuptials, 2011 was a year of FABULOUS weddings.  So, when asked to pick my favorite wedding from the year I really racked my brain.  I fell in love with this destination Indian wedding from Hawaii, and I am always head over heels for an Indian wedding at the romantic San Francisco City Hall.  But the wedding that really took my breath away was this sweet number by Wrinkle in Time Photography and Design House Décor.  As you Maharanis know, my baby brother is getting married next year, and I have bookmarked this Indian wedding to refer back to because it is loaded with great ideas.

Tons of Indian wedding inspiration coming right up!

So, I just figured out that I can take all my Indian wedding inspiration from the year, and use it to design and decorate my tree.  From the second that I laid eyes on this beautiful yellow mandap by Design House Décor I knew that this is what Christmas 2012 will be based off in my house. Yellow roses, glamorous draping, and a crystal chandelier come together to make the design a little bit modern and a little bit traditional at the same time. How charming are the details like the fan club sign, bed of rose petals, and elephants greeting you at the top of the aisle? In that signature Design House Décor way, I am left speechless and exhilarated all in one!

Reception on the way....it's so gorgeous, you are in for a real treat!
