Northern California Indian Wedding Kicks Off with Mehndi

My favorite movie of all time is the Sound of Music, and I watch it during the holidays every year.  So, let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start this morning, and kick off the day with this dreamy Indian wedding by James Thomas Long Photography. With an all star cast of Indian wedding vendors like, planning to perfection by Avant Planners, yummy food by New Delhi Restaurant, and florals and decor by the the ah-maz-ing Floramor, I think that I might be in Indian wedding heaven!  So, get ready, it's going to be a beautiful day!

Stay tuned, TONS of ideas on the way!

Modern, Chic San Francisco Indian Wedding

I love modern design through and through, so when I laid my peepers on this Northern California Indian wedding that took place at the San Francisco Design Center, I almost fell out of my chair.  It has all the makings of a perfect contemporary ceremony, and make sure that you pay special attention to this avant-garde mandap by Floramor.  Manzanita trees outline the stage and are delicately accented with a few romantic kissing balls.  And, as if this Hindu ceremony wasn't stunning enough, the bride and her elegant bridal lengha have taken my breath away.  Luckily, James Thomas Long Photography snapped up oodles of beautiful images for us to enjoy!

Much more inspiration on the way!

San Francisco Indian Wedding by James Thomas Long Photography, Floramor & Avant Planners

It's been a spectacular day on Maharani Weddings today, but we aren't even close to done yet.  James Long Thomas Photography sent me a ton of images from this fabulous San Francisco Indian wedding, and I am having the hardest time choosing my favorites to share with you all.  With every images more beautiful than the previous, I have spent the morning "ooooooh-ing" and "ahhhhh-ing" over the dynamite, contrasting, jai malas by Floramor and the bride's mehndi by Keyuris. And, just when I thought this Hall of Fame wedding couldn't get anymore Maharani, these two little lovebirds make their getaway in a sapphire blue Bentley!

And, can you believe we still have the reception to swoon over!  More coming right up!

Colorful, Modern San Francisco Reception by Jame Thomas Long Photography

Since it is Thanksgiving week food is on the brain! And, this multi-colored reception is a feast for your eyes, the way the food by New Delhi Restaurant was a feast for these guest's soul!  I wish I could have been a fly on the wall at this San Francisco Indian wedding to see the magical night unfold. Vibrance and energy filled the room from every angle, and the decor by Floramor has left me almost speechless.  This modern twist is not what you'd expect for a colorful reception, but it makes me love the contemporary design even more.

Congratulations to the love birds and big thanks to James Thomas Long, Avant Planners &  Floramor for this submission.
Have a wonderful night Maharanis, and I will see you all tomorrow!

New York Indian Wedding by Wrinkle In Time Photography

My MIL’s favorite flower is a yellow rose, and after seeing this glorious mandap, it might just be mine too. The perfect blend of modern draping with traditional style, Design House Décor created this totally gorgeous tented look for this indoor New York Hindu ceremony. It brings a little bit of the outdoors, indoors, and I couldn’t believe that they were able to transform a ballroom into this level of glamour and sophistication on short notice due to Hurricane Irene.  White fabrics, a crystal chandelier, yellow roses, and a few red petals scattered to match the bride of course, makes the design crisp, bold and uttlery fabulous!

Reception on the way....it's so gorgeous, you are in for a real treat!
