Welcome to Maharani Weddings

It’s nice to see a mandap at an Indian wedding, where the bride and groom throw convention out the window and find something that suites their personalities.  A bold, teal mandap is totally refreshing and with purple accents that match their jai malas and baraat, we couldn’t be more delighted.  Summer brides please take notes!  This couple left nothing to chance, and made sure that everything paired together flawlessly.

Have we got a finale for you today! I took out our mid afternoon post, because I just couldn't wait a moment longer to share this insanely gorgeous Same Day Edit by Pacific Pictures.

Anytime I see Kevin Shahinian's name in our submission box, I get giddy inside and start grinning ear to ear.  I shut my office door, kick my heels off, and turn off my phone because I know it isn’t going to be good, it is going to be GREAT.  I have an obsession with ALL the wedding videos that Pacific Pictures creates, but it is the Indian ones that capture my heart. Kevin and his team, understand Indian weddings and know where to have their cameras and how to set up those perfectly timed, magical shots.

We have had a pink-eriffic day on Maharani, and as usual we saved the best for last. From the floral chandy to the amazing candy station, this wedding is definitely going down in the Maharani Hall of Fame!

If you haven’t been on Maharani for a few days, you may have missed the unveiling of our newest tool. The Maharani Jukebox by AVL Films is filled with our favorite wedding songs that are perfect for helping you set the mood on your big day.

And, today we are featuring a royal wedding at the spectacular Vibiana, in Los Angeles, CA.  The venues white marble walls are the perfect backdrop for color…and what a gorgeous color combination it is.  Exquisite Events did a marvelous job custom creating this look to match the bride’s lengha.  This wedding makes me want to get married all over again….just like this!
